Prom night is something that high school girls look forward to all year. But for one senior in Houston, her prom was nothing like she had planned.

The simple fact that her parents thought it would be ok for a their teenage daughter to even walk out the house in that outfit says alot.

Nothing compared to what she sees on network television.
That is what happens when we (as a society) instill the need to be wanted by other people more than loving ourselves.
It is an ugly dress. The train and skirt do not match well at all, going from a tight straight line in the front to a frilly dangle in the back.

Silly that she even thought she had a chance getting thru the door in that what kind of message is she trying to send about herself or does she not know she is asking for trouble parading around like that.

normally i am all for freedom of dress and try not to judge a person by what they wear. but i have to say this dress was WAY too skimpy for a teenaged young lady to wear for her senior prom. it did not project a good image of her, her class, or her school. as a parent, there is no way in HELL my daughter would leave the house dressed like that!! the parents should have used better judgement.

uhmmm so why was she suprised that she was kicked out, like chris rock says, dont wear the uniform of a hooker if you dont want to be treated like one..........sad that at no point she was given ANY guidance by some female role model that whilst YES she does look good in it this is NOT the time or place to have half your body out on show looking like you really should be on a street corner........BUT also in her defence at LEAST she was not some fat munter with wayyyy too much out wobbling around.

I went to a funeral on staurday and there was girls that looked like they was either going out clubbing or was rushing off to their jobs as the happy hookers..........does NO ONE think to teach their children what is "right" or not.

Like some of the others here, I am more concerned that her parents thought it was an appropriate dress for the prom, and also concerned that she thought it was okay.

While I feel sorry for her being escorted away in cuffs, she could have left on her own and changed into something appropriate.

While I agree that parents should be more involved with their kids I know from experience that it is easy to change from the outfit the parents might have seen into that ugly thing. Maybe she got ready at a girlfriend's house and had a change of clothes ready for her return home.
Guaranteed she's watched too much television. In that and any other media it is hard to escape the portrayal of a woman as just merely being a piece of meat and the more men she gets to want to oof her the more powerful of a woman she is.
Actaully it is pretty common now to try to go ahead and oof em, as many as you can. Maybe even film it. Anyone seen that episode of South Park about PAris Hilton opening up her new store in Springfield?
Then girls grow well into adulthood still thinking along these lines while still seeking the intimacy at the same time. And they wonder why, at a certain point, no matter guys they oof they cannot fill that void. Forgetting that essential part of feminity can be devastating, as can forgetting what categories men classify women they want into:
The ones they want to bring home to meet ma.
The ones they just want to oof.
They are two different women.

she should be ashamed for even coming out in this dress. Highly unappropriate for a high school prom. This reminds me of something a hooker would wear.

Glad to see that she was denied entry to her prom. Hopefully, this will be a reality check for her after graduation that in the workplace that this type of dress is also unacceptable. I would of think that most young ladies that go to their senior proms would want to look their best and not some trashy sleep around. As for her parents, they either don't care about their reputation or their daughter is being rebellious.

I guess her parents paid for a hotel room for the night also to go with the dress. What they are really saying is, have a bunch of babies real guick because we don't think you're smart enough to make it.

Too bad for her date that she was kicked out... she would have put out before the first dance.

If it looks like a slut and walks like a slut... guess what?

I just can't believe she thinks there was some big unjustice done to her. Come on, use some common sense sweetie. Or didn't your mama teach you that?
