One thing over looked by the pro-drug seller bunch above is that the drug sellers are trying to get new people to get hooked on drugs (new customers). They start with "Free" samples then when the users get hooked, then it's "Oh by the way, you owe me alot of money". To pay for these drugs, the hooked customers turn to crime. In the last 7 years, my daughter has been robbed 4 times (the last one a few days ago). Witness called cops, got there late, robber went into building 3 north of her place. Witness said won't go to court to say anything so cops won't do anything (but we know the person, and need for drug money is the cause).
I rather pay alittle in higher taxes for the dealers kids food (so he would not need to sell drugs), than to have hooked druggers robbing houses, going thru personnal items, and saleing or pawning them miles in all directions so you will never get them back.
