Oh, yeah... because the money they make and spend boosts the economy and at least they are trying to support themselves. God forbid they do that!

What lifestyle? The fact that they choose to try to make more money that they would if they had a "real" job? Most of the time they are too ignorant to get a job that pays more than minimum wage. Like I said.. leave the weed sellers alone. They boost the economy!!

just cuz they sell drugs dont make them scum bags

It is clear that drugs kill. right? This people if they have family they should try to better them self, specially for their family. And no kids are not scum bags. It is the adult that is doing wrong without thinking of the consequence and risking their life. When a person sell illegal substance they have two thing waiting for them. Jail or Death. If they are lucky they'll get jail. Again my personal opinion.

Not for nothing anyone who sells drugs will eventualy be caught. Sadly children get wrapped up in this and may loose one of their parents. Yes, the economy is bad but there money isn't any better. Who's going to get stuck raising these inoccent children?

exactly, my point exactly. Just because our economy is on the floor at this moment, it doesn't mean that parents should be breaking the law. its like Jess wrote; who will take care of this inocent children because of their parent wrong doing?

I agree with Linda all the way. I was a single parent and i worked 3 jobs and DID NOT HAVE TO SELL DRUGS.....THEE ARE JOBS OUT THERE THAT WILL HIRE YOU NO MATTER WHAT YOUR RECORD IS.

Where there is a will there is a way. And definitely doing illegal thing is not the way. We as parents have to think what is right for our children and our children future. And having innocents one visit their parents in jail or in a cemetery is definitely not the right way. It's like Cadaz wrote, there are tones of companies that would hire a person regardless their criminal records. So, there is no excuse for a parent to do wrong doing without thinking about their little ones.

One thing over looked by the pro-drug seller bunch above is that the drug sellers are trying to get new people to get hooked on drugs (new customers). They start with "Free" samples then when the users get hooked, then it's "Oh by the way, you owe me alot of money". To pay for these drugs, the hooked customers turn to crime. In the last 7 years, my daughter has been robbed 4 times (the last one a few days ago). Witness called cops, got there late, robber went into building 3 north of her place. Witness said won't go to court to say anything so cops won't do anything (but we know the person, and need for drug money is the cause).

I rather pay alittle in higher taxes for the dealers kids food (so he would not need to sell drugs), than to have hooked druggers robbing houses, going thru personnal items, and saleing or pawning them miles in all directions so you will never get them back.

any one of you who think reefer is a drug is prob the same LOOSER that voted for President Primate, George Bush. In fact dont you still have a W sticker on the back of your SUV?
