No way Jose. I like the guy but when it comes right down to the level pull, it won't be for him.

Why would anyone vote for someone who promises amnesty to the millions of illegal immigrants in this country? I don't think so.

"Why would anyone vote for someone who promises amnesty to the millions of illegal immigrants in this country?" Interesting statement, are you referring to Obama or McCain here? Both support a comprehensive immigration bill that will grant amnesty to illegals in this country and neither will do a damn thing about the border. I will not vote for either of these two idiots. Both will take the country to hell just choose the speed you want to go.

I don't think so, since at this point he doesn't seem to have a realistic agenda. I think his views are kinda simplistic and based on feel good promises not real hard work. He isn't being elected emperor and as president he would need to find compromises that are based on the real issues not steamroll opposition.

Why would I want a president that has terrorist ties, wants to quit a war based on dates and not success, is a 1 term senator, refuses to visit wounded soldiers because they don't allow cameras, should I go on. Obama will say whatever people want to hear and he is counting on finding people dumb enough to believe his lies.

You say your not old enough to vote yet so you have not had the chance to really see where poor politicians can take things, spend your hard earned money and cause you to loose friends in unwarranted wars. I have been making these choices for 40 years now and I am tired of choosing the lesser of the two. But you are correct come November I will once again go and vote. I will hold my nose and push a button and not vote for any incumbents.

Because someone making an uninformed choice is probably worse than someone not exercising their right to vote.

I do not find it hard to make an informed decision this year. Quite the contrary. You have someone very very far left and then you have a moderate. We are not getting a viable electable far right candidate this time, probably a good thing, because he/she wouldn't get elected. So I won't be voting for Obama this year.

He can make a very "passionate" speech...but....what did he say? Will not be voting for him. No experience, avoids committing to a yes or no vote, just "present". He talks about our men and women coming home, then doesn't even shake their hands when he's over there. Ignores them. Talks the talk, but doesn't walk the walk.

I like change if I know what that might amount to. Obama is a big unknown. Due to his lack of experience I'm not sure he knows exactly what he is all about yet. 2008 is too soon for Obama--he needs ripening. I like the concept of finally having an actual legitamate minority candidate. But I'm not willing to take the risk on an inexperienced candidate.

If you are correct, thanks for straightening me out.I'm still voting Republican because I'm tired of government handsouts for those who don't deserve it.
