Obama's campaign has some balls to say she is inexperienced!!! Obama, you were a community organizer and now you are a freshman senator running for PRESIDENT!!!

She is a Governor running for VICE President. See the difference here Obama's flock of sheep?

Goodbye Barry. You will forever be known as Barry the community organizer.

Sara Palin will roast the pubic hair right off the top of Biden's pathetic head in a debate.

Today I am proud to be a member of the GOP.

To see a real American woman (a real Republican) and mother nominated to be a candidate for Vice President of the United States is truly awesome. Sarah Palin is a Woman that believes in the fundamental underpinnings of our entire way of life, our culture and our strength as a nation. McCain's pick is risky but Ms. Palin up to the job with more executive experience by far than Barack Obama. She has a solid record of rooting out corruption, waste and other Government nonsense. She also has campaigned and won against a GOP incumbent and a Democrat former Governor. She isn't going to shrink from Joe Biden's attacks.

What a great pick - this finally has me energized for this election. With her experience running a city and a state, her ability to root out corruption (even in her own party), her stance on so many issues, this is FANTASTIC.

THIS is the change America needs!

Go McCain-Palin!!!!!

I was hoping he would pick Lieberman. That would have been the perfect middle of the road ticket. The Republican who irratates the conservatives, and the (former) Democrat who irritates the Liberals. Two candidates who could give a rip about party politics. That's what we need.

Are you serious? This woman has only been in office for 20 months! How you can you say that Obama has less experience? Before becoming governor she was a mayor, which is a part-time at best in many places, especially a very small town in Alaska. This is just another example of McCain's poor judgment.

but the opposition has no real leadership experience.
i'd rather have a little experience then none.

Let's do a little math, shall we?
2 terms on Wasilla City Council from 1992-1996=4 years
Mayor of Wasilla from 1996-2002=6 years
Governor of Alaska 2006-2008=2 years
this equals 12 years political experience.
Barrack Obama has only had 10 years experience and that's only as a legislator, the man has never served in an executive capacity.

I'm voting McCain/Palin!

Just one example of how she's done more in her career that you call "only 20 months" than Obama's done in a lifetime.

From Fox News:
Palin is, among other things, a former beauty queen, a mother of five, an abortion opponent, a union member, hockey player and moose hunter. She is said to be a reformer who takes pride in standing up to the “good ol’ boy network,” and she has served as the top ethics watchdog in her state.

In Alaska, Governor Palin challenged a corrupt system and passed a landmark ethics reform bill. She has actually used her veto and cut budgetary spending. She put a stop to the ‘bridge to nowhere’ that would have cost taxpayers $400 million dollars.”

The Club for Growth, a government spending watchdog, described Palin as a “genuine reformer.”

She’s fought oil companies and party bosses and do-nothing bureaucrats and anyone who puts their interests before the people they serve.”

I find it hard to believe that Sarah Palin was the best qualified candidate he could find. This makes me nervous. It seems like he picked her just because she's a young, attractive woman. Let's face it, with McCain's age and health problems, this woman would very likely become president. Why didn't he choose someone like Kaye Bailey Hutchinson, who has many years of significant experience?
