<quoted text>I gotta agree with you there. And I figure if she can run a house of 4, or how many ever, kids and a state she has normal people values. She has worried about putting clothes and shoes on those baby's and what's for dinner tonight? The others have been in the game for so long, they can not even relate to normal people. She's still one of us for now.
That's just it - She isn't running a household of four. Her teen daughter felt neglected and unloved enough to try to find love somewhere else with some loser high school dropout that hates kids. Normal people my a $$- Eyeglass frames that cost over $800 - I've never paid over $300 for a pair including lenses and I need special ones to avoid the coke bottle look. I see her sweet cheesy personality as the one she puts on for the public, and the pit bull probably really comes out with her own family at home. I would have loved to have been the fly on the wall when her daughter came home and broke the news to her about the baby. You can bet she didn't offer her daughter any options but to have it. You Repubs just get all misty eyed and fall in love anytime someone talks about their morals and faith. Never mind their political views - God will tell them the right thing to do!

She has more experience in running any govt than Obama. Facts are clear. Plus she is normal.

It's DESPERATION.
They don't want to accept the fact the she in in a cult.
They don't want to accept the fact that every time she opens her mouth she embarasses the ticket.
They don't want to accept the fact that she's the WORST pick in VP history.
They don't want to accept the factg that she has ZERO credibility.
They don't want to accept the fact that Palin is the best thing to happen to the Obama ticket.

Pretty funny, that all you have to do is change the references to Biden, and it would be the truth.

Democrats can't deny the fact that he is stupid.
It's DESPERATION.
They don't want to accept the fact the he in in a cult.(Look at all the problems john Kenned had when running as a Catholic.)
They don't want to accept the fact that every time he opens her mouth he embarasses the ticket.(Stand up, Chuck... Roosevelt was on the TV when the stock market crashed...)
They don't want to accept the fact that he's the WORST pick in VP history.
They don't want to accept the fact that he has ZERO credibility.(Always for clean coal... On tape saying that he does not support clean coal)
They don't want to accept the fact that Biden is the best thing to happen to the McCain ticket.
He is a gift to the Republicans.

Gooooooooo Joe.

<quoted text> Donna thisis true but only to a point. I mean come on. Me and my brother used to drive around and say my god all these people cannot be docters and lawyers. A big 300,000 house, two brand new cars sitting in the driveway, campers, jet ski's, smowmobiles in abbundance. All the family having big screen t.v.s, cell phones for the entire family, we were to blame to. I mean come on we were the generation of excess. I'd say it was a shared responsibility. Guess what it is ok to live in a small home, own a used car, do not have a cell phone. It is ok. It makes you no less a person.
vewry helpful post john. I live in a small house, drive a used car, have a small tv, and I have no credit card debt.,nor do I want any, I only buy what I can aford to pay for within the month on credit. I am still a good human being.

I actually don''t think she is all that attractive, but I did that night. I was glad she held her own, and put to rest whether she is qualified. I don't think she 'beat' Biden, but I don't think she had to either. Funny watching Biden run away from his own statements just a few months earlier. Given the choice I think he'd reather be on McCain's ticket too.

And this is what republicans call normal?
This is an actual quote from her when she was in Grand Rapids. I have $500.00 for the first brainiac that can translate it to what in the hell she's saying.

"Oil and coal? Of course, it's a fungible commodity and they don't flag, you know, the molecules, where it's going and where it's not. But in the sense of the Congress today, they know that there are very, very hungry domestic markets that need that oil first. So, I believe that what Congress is going to do, also, is not to allow the export bans to such a degree that it's Americans that get stuck to holding the bag without the energy source that is produced here, pumped here. It's got to flow into our domestic markets first." --Sarah Palin, billed by John McCain as the nation's foremost expert on energy, clumsily answering a question while speaking off the cuff at a town hall meeting, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Sept. 17, 2008

It means congress should allow more drilling, and not add it to the world market, just send directly to the states.

We get oil and send it off, we then buy oil coming in from different ships.
Like our "general fund" they take the cash, but spend it for many things, instead of a "road fund" etc etc

Same for oil, it all goes into a big pot, she don't want that, she want more drilling for USA use only.

Just because someone is a mother of 5 doesn't mean they would make a good VP. The fact that she is a mother of 5 and one of them is a special needs child kind of makes me think less of her for wanting to run for VP.

So explain to me, more in depth, just exactly why "it's a fungible commodity and they don't flag, you know, the molecules"

(I can't wait to hear this)
