Either way it doesn't matter. The victim is fine, and the idiot who stabbed him will be going to prison. It's as simple as that.

intentions were not good, they went there to fight, end of story. i know all of these people and that's how they've always been... and as far as him going "back" to prison, he's never been to prison, shows how much you know.... and yeah the girl probably has bruises now, but they're not from him... and if someone came to MY HOUSE to jump me, i would arm myself too. and he did know this girl, it's his girlfriends friend.. hello... we were all hanging out on friday when this all started, and it was her that was abusing him.... he held her down to stop her... which i don't think is called abuse..

Right. Cause the things I say I'm pulling right out of my ****. The kid has a record.
He stabbed someone unarmed. He can't even claim self defense on that because HE WAS UNARMED. Doesn't matter whos property it was on. It wasn't even a pocket knife. You don't just carry a 6" blade on you. He came out with it armed and ready to hurt someone.
Your friend **** up big time kiddo. And now he's hiding again (last time it took them about 2 years to actually find him according to his record). I don't care about all your melodramatic teenage drama.

nice job misc! i am glad he is doing good. he is a good kid, he is my friends boyfriend. he was just trying to do the right thing and defending a girl who he may have known or not. Any guys that are friends with a girl who has been abused by either a guy or girl should defend for her and most of the time always will. As for the kid who had to use a weapon to defend himself with unarmed kids has issues and should be locked up for good.

Why is it such a suprise that this happened in Jenison..crime occurs everywhere but some get covered up. I am not shocked that this happened in the so called "good" neighborhood.
Come on people quit, being programmed by the media.

Pax wrote: Man Jenison is just going downhill first a speedway robbery and now this. Long live the Jenison Ghetto. Btw, did we ever figure out which speedway it was, wood reported 1800 block but that one isn't open 24 hours so they wouldn't be open at 3 A.M.) But hey, wood usually gets info wrong just to say they were the first You are incorrect. The Speedway in the 1800 black of Baldwin (Across the street from Burger King) is open for 24 hours and that is the store that was robbed. As far as I know they have not caught the person that did it. I also heard on the news that they think the stabbing was self defense, but that was all I heard. I did hear a lady talking about it in the store that lives in the neighborhood and she said that the fight was more between two girls and then the two guys got involved and when the others tried to break them up, the one from Jenison go ticked and stabbed the other. I still have not heard if anyone was arrested.

Kathy wrote: How is the stabbing victim today? Does anybody know? I just read this article on Woodtv 8. Looks like he is home recovering. GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich.(WOOD)-- The search is on for the person that stabbed a 20-year-old Wyoming man multiple times. The unarmed victim was stabbed at approximately 3:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 6400 block of Orchid Drive. Police tell 24 Hour News 8 the victim was then driven to the Chicago Drive Target where he was picked up by an ambulance. Investigators believe the victim came to the house with his friends to confront the 20-year-old Jenison man who lives at the Orchid Drive residence. A fight broke out, and that's when the victim was stabbed multiple times in the back. Police say the incident sounds like a case of self defense. The argument between the two males did involve a female. Family members tell 24 Hour News 8 that the victim was attempting to protect the unarmed female from the suspect. The victim is now home recovering.

Hi, Sam...I saw that part from last night...just was curious if he's feeling decent or is he in a lot of pain? Just wondered since some people here seem to know him. Just asking out of concern.

The guy hasn't been arrested yet as far as I know. The cops can't find him but they know his name and where he lives so it's only a matter of time.

She insisted on going to the mans house to talk to him, so the victim and his friends went with her to protect her. They arrived and a bunch of men came out the house hostile. She never should have went back, should have just called the police and reported being beaten up and had the idiot arrested.

to sam.... SHE WAS NEVER BEATEN UP.... THIS ALL STARTED FRIDAY NIGHT WHEN SHE WAS DRUNK AND BEING BELLIGERENT AND ATTACKED HIM, HE HELD HER DOWN AND TOLD HER TO STOP, SHE MADE A COMMENT SAYING SHE WAS GOING TO CALL THE POLICE, AND HER FRIEND, TOLD HER THAT SHE WAS THE ONE THAT STARTED IT IN THE FIRST PLACE, SO HER EXACT RESPONSE WAS "I'LL JUST MAKE SURE HE GETS HIS **** BEAT REAL GOOD THEN..." HOW CAN U TELL ME THEY WENT OVER THERE WITH GOOD INTENTIONS???? THEY WENT OVER THERE TO JUMP HIM, HE WAS PROTECTING HIMSELF AND HIS SISTER, IT WAS SELF DEFENSE, I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYONE SAYS....
