Somehow I don't think the 4 people you use in your screen name would call themselves elitists....they are free spenders, and definitely not fiscal conservatives....but you sound like a very angry lib.....just one question for you.....if the election is already "over", why are you guys still so angry??????

I'm not angry and I'm not a 'lib' or 'con'. I am an independent thinker that sits back, gets a little 'buzz on' and loves 'playing the game' with all you posters who think your opinion actually means something.(myself included). I admit that I just like seeing how many peoples panties I can 'get in a snit'. (And why do you assume I'm a 'guy'.

But its a great stress reliever . I do like the debate part though. 10/4 on the little buzz.

The big three has been living high on the hog for many years. Times change. When and if things turn around, it could be a good time to buy up stock. I think we have not seen the bottom yet, so I will sit on my money for now.

It would help if they would go back to building vehicles that are basic transportation, without all the frills. I don't need power steering or A/C in my vehicles. I haven't checked lately, but I'm reasonably certain that I would have to go to a Japanese or Korean nameplate to get basic transportation.

Never bought a brand new vehicle alway buy used. I am 47, and owned 5 vehicles (myself)in my lifetime. My brother is a mechanic so we always bring him along or have him check it out before we purchase. Listen to a McCain Palin rally. You want to hear hate? Not only from the candidates themselves but from the people in the crowd. The republicans are so full of hate and anger I am afraid for Obama. People on the right full of hate is a dangerous combination.

The UAW is solely responsible for this downfall. Too many years of sleeping on the job and paying people $100K/year to put screw A into hole B. The slackers drove up prices and made the companies uncompetitive with foreign imports. This is just the culmination of years of the Big Three dying a slow death at the hands of the UAW.

Unions have destroyed the big 3. So sad.
I heard once we start importing chinese and indian automobiles the 3 are done for. Watch out Boeing employees. Chinas next goal is to be the dominant player in aerospace so Boieng is on borrowed time as well. Thanks IAMAW (International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers).

On a brighter note, look for Granholm and the Dems to raise taxes after November.

I want to change what I just said .Its not hate I am sorry .Its just different perspectives . I don't agree with Obama or his supporters quite a group too. P Diddy ,Madonna,Cybil Shepard, what a group. What these people say is just as disrespectful as any of the other side. But do they (Obama or McCain) deserve our respect. Why do I have to respect Obama he hasn't earned any. And McCain I'm still not sure.

The economy makes me angry too, but I choose to be angry at BOTH sides, not just one. The Dems have been in charge for 2 years and nothing has gotten accomplished.....the Repubs were in charge for longer than that and nothing was accomplished...so, if the election is truly a forgone conclusion, why so angry??? Why not be singing, "happy, happy, joy, joy...Obama is going to help me get rich????" Could it be because deep down you know that is not the case???? Hmmmm???????
