Dems rip into McCain at Obama's convention

The "men" who were around the convention center and who ran from the police in a truck full of guns and bullet proof vests were only charged with possession of meth. What a joke! If all goes well for them they will be released within days.(I'm sure some wealthy republicans will hire the best lawyers for them.) And people think racism doesn't exist in America? If these men were found outside of the RNC in this manner they would have been charged with everything under the sun (including terrorism)and would be facing years in prison. Of course you can be sure wood tv and the rest of the news outlets will completely ignore that factor and seep this story under the rug. Let's hope Obama can get out of town before they are released.

I’ve read where people be little McCain because he has seven houses; but, don’t say anything about B. Hussein Obama having a house valued over a million dollars ... McCain is a joke anyway. He is an empty suit. No substance, no integrity, no ethics. Even more disturbing is that he's really not very smart.
He is corrupt, as shown by his involvement in the "Keating 5" scandal, and by using his influence to keep his drug-addict wife from being prosecuted for stealing prescriptions in the '90's.

He also stole the "cross in the sand" story he used at the Saddleback forum from Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. What a pathetic liar, to pander to the evangelicals like that.

The republicans wanted to crucify Bill Clinton for recieving oral sex, yet now they think McCain's extramarital affairs are OK. McCains' repeated cheating on his first wife makes Bill Clinton look like a saint. Good ol' republican hypocrisy.

He's also a sell-out. He took sides against POW/MIA activists in his efforts to promote trade agreements with the communist Vietnam government.

Hey Flanders. Your assumptions and comments are idiotic. However, if there are some police who are less than excited about Obama it could have something to do with the fact that he's being backed and he respects a terrorist who bombed our capitol as well as police stations.

McCain's problem was not so much the number of houses, we all know he is a kept man, it was that he didn't know how many. He tries to come off as such a regular guy and he could not remember how many houses he and/or Cindy own. He has been living the High Life care of his wife's Bud distributorship for decades. He has all the perks, jets, limos, etc.

Getting the GOP out of the White House is all the solution we need. The McCain of 2000, the last time he ran, is not the McCain of 2008. He is now a evangelical hugging right wing wacko, not a Goldwater libertarian.

Lieberman not Biden I believe had to whisper in his ear but the rest of the post is great. I forgot that Cindy had a Rush moment and was hooked on the good stuff for a while.
