I drove throught it..twice!!!
I had to pick up my son from youth group and caught it coming in and then I hit the tail end of it on the way home!!!

Thunder Lightning and huge kabooms just passed through Standale! Taz ... is that it for the night or should we be looking for more?

Perfectly timed,I guess! Mother nature does sometimes get it nailed!

On the fly, I know I'm a day late and a dollar short, but that was all there was.

Ladybudd, that would have had to be an awful fast moving storm to get all the way over there that quickly!

Hi canadagirl. According to the weathermen last night, it should be an almost perfect day for garage sales, cooler (low 80s) andlower humidity. Of course, he had to qualify that with a 15% possiblity of a shower! LOL

Isn't it a day early for garage sales? I thought they usually start on Friday.

It is summerfest time in Coopersville (poopersville as I call it) August 4th to the 9th.

Taz I had all my windows open when that storm hit last night. WOW! The wind picked up and blew like hell!

Do you have any idea why I have to keep going back and forth to read the last post? It sucks!

We got hammered big time, lots of thunder and lightning, so much rain in such a short time, we actually worried that we would get water in the house, it came up to the frame on our sliders.

I was standing out on our deck look up and this huge Shelf Cloud was coming over our house. Went and got the hubby to check it out. We took pictures. I will post them on my space tonight.

Thank goodness the water didn't come up any further.

Yes the storm was a nasty. It didn't last long but it was enough to make me nervous. The whole air sky everything had an orange tint to it scary..

Well somehow Star the bird hurt her wing. The hubby says she bluffing lol but I think she must have injured it flying in her cage. Im sure she will be fine & it will heal, But i think she's mine now =)

The raccoons didn't come in last night tho. lol maybe they thought the crazy lady just wasn't worth it. Plus we moved the garbage can last week into the shed. I'm still ready for them though.

And the kittens are gone! well they are leaving saturday but they have homes.

We had a huge double rainbow out toward the east after the storm. I will post the pic's when I get a chance. My three year old grandson saw it first. He thought that was just the best!

Good morning! So yall had a storm, huh? Thunder and lightning hardly ever happens here. It scares the bajeezes out of me.

Raccoons? Seems like I live in another world! I have seen opossums and the fires that happened here last year brought new birds to the area but I have never seen a raccoon. They are cute!
