Detroit mayor ordered to jail

he shouldnt get any bond appeal or hearings in circuit court until after he is arraigned in circuit court. they better follow due process... make him wait his turn on the schedule. dont let him out.......... no one else would get the special treatment.

I would bet this weeks paycheck that if he was a Republican, you would not have to ask what his party affilitation was. The article would have mentioned several times.

This guy is the last thing we need in this state during these harsh economic times.

He, for better or worse, is the highest profile person in office in Michigan. His complete lack of ethics has cast a national shadow on this state.

That hurts us all. How? If you understand the delicate psychology of our market-based economy, you know how and why.

And maybe worst of all, having this lowlife in office further degrades the public trust in government.

What is it called when an elected official repeatedly caught red-handed refuses to step down? I thought that was the definition of a dictatorship.

I think youre partially correct. However it is a much greater travesty that our governor wont fulfill her oath and responsibility to remove this bum.

so the circuit court judge wont hear an appeal until tomorrow. yes more special treatment for the mayor. so then who gets bumped on the schedule, just to squeeze in a rush appeal for the mayor? the court needs to make him wait his turn. does anyone in the state of mi get an appeal after 1 night in jail? give me a break. like judge giles said, how does it make the court look. looks funny to give him a rush appeal doesnt it? hope the circuit court judge has good sense & keeps in there til trial. and doesnt he have to be arrainged in circuit court before then can have further proceedings? or did he waive that at the dist court prelim too.
