When is this guy going to get thrown out of office, and thrown in jail?

Good he is where he belongs , should have been there a long time ago. He is no than anybody else who would do this. Creep.

The judge did right. Kwame thinks he is above the law, and I guess he found out otherwise. I hope he enjoys the view, and hopefully gets more of the same. He deserves time in the big house, and if that happens, he is gonna be humbled. The only down side to this lock up is that they did not put him in with the other perps.

Rule is tell your wife about outside coochie. If you have to get outside coochie, and your in some form of office, tell your wife. If you don't, you could be a convicted criminal and sentenced to jail time for lying to the state, country, and most importantly who you were trying to avoid, your wife. Had he told his wife, wouldn't have been any scrutiny for the last 7 months and he wouldn't have these issues.

This guy has everything coming he gets, I still don't understand how he has his job, goes to show you have to be a liar, cheater, and dishonest, to be in a political office. What does that say about the people we have in charge. Sorry this one just gets my goat!!

This man has been a terrible mayor and has had a terrible influence on his city. The corruption is only now starting to come to the surface and hopefully it will not be much longer before we know the whole truth about his character and the wrongs that he has done as a representative of the people.

Don't forget about the other questionable things that he has done. The whole Lincoln Navigator thing, using bodyguards paid on the city's dime to do personal work, giving lucrative and bloated city contracts to his friends, lying about the above, etc.

ok im confused.... i dont agree with cheating on you wife, but this is why he is in jail?? from my understanding its because he lied about the affair correct? If thats the case I think its a harsh punishment....but dont everyone go off, like i said i dont know all the facts could someone fill me in?

trail is complete. Just think when he goes away for 5 years or so and losses about 100 pounds he can start doing Jenny Craig info ads!!

Please don't anyone say what party he belongs to, it doesn't matter. What matters is that he broke the law and a judge gave him what he deserved.

So, I generally have no concerns in Detroit's affairs, but why was he being prosecuted for going to Canada? Anybody know?

He has been ordered by the judge to spend a night in jail for violating the terms of his bond by going to Canada.
