Attempted abduction in Wyoming

Now, Do you all want to continue nit-picking the details or show the support this family needs?

As you can tell, I'm very passionate about this topic. This is my family your talking about. The little sister that I have helped raise and love deeply. If this attacker had done what he intended, I think I would NEVER see her again. So, I'm defending her because she showed more courage then I've seen any child show. She shouldn't have had to fight for her life and I believe that it was truly unfair. I'm fighting for her because the community that is suppose to be rejoicing in her safety is tearing her down. I don't think that's what these boards are meant to be.

Listen to yourself you say those four other siblings are from when she was in foster care. HELLO she already was placed in foster care for one reason or another maybe this mother should watch her children better. I am not saying that this was right by no means but this story is getting worse the more you all try to deffend her mother. Who goes on the news and puts her child on camera and releases her name for the world to see, then she states her children are taught not to go with anyone who doesn't know there names well great job ther mom now the whole west michigan area knows her name and where she lives. I think alot of thing have went wrong with this situation. The news says on here they will not release the childs name however they already did on tv,the mother who clearly was not watching her children on the play ground and a number of other issues. the more you open your mouths about this the more the police should look into this matter maybe they should not only be looking for the **** who did this but also look into this mothers history. Clearly there is some blame on her part as a mom. I never leave my kids at the playground alone just in case they get hurt. Also when this story aired last night did you all notice the children playing on the playground with no parent in sight except this women who was busy talking to the news what is with people these days. I am glad news 8 was there to watch the kids but what happened when they left to go edit there footage?

Anna, I am very happy that this little girl is safe tonight and with her family. I will say a prayer for them. There are a lot of very sick and mentally disturbed people(many of which are disgusting men-if you can even call them that) out in our world. Innocent children shouldn't have to worry about being taken, but unfortunetly that is how society is today. May God bless you and your family..

You should defend your family. Most of all however you should be very proud of this little girl. Her courage kept her from becoming justanother statistics. Just like many who are abducted and murdered. After a while they just become another number. Lets not forget Samantha Runnion, Pauly Klas, Jon Benet Ramsey and Adam Walsh.

"JUST THINKING" you really need to stop critizing her mom. she has been through a lot and shes done a lot for her daughter you dont know her past or ANYTHING about the family. and you know what im sure her mother didnt go on tv intending on just giving everyone her daughters name for the purpose of this guy or anyone harming her child.

I agree with you.Its just ashamed we cant even let are children play in there own yard with out being afraid of a stranger taking are children.I do have one quiestion the place this took place at is it in the city?

Actually it was on a farm in rural Nebraska.

Yes it took place on Waldon woods which is off of Byron Center After Prarie Park way and before 36th street. I guess my comments are offending some however you never know who is on the other end off the computer I know more than you think Anna. The mother of this child had her child in foster care and got her back. Yet she leaves her child alone in the play ground while she does what ever. Maybe she thought because she lives next door to a wyoming police officer she was safe however she also lives next door to a crack head. I just put what I know on here and let evertone else judge for themselves. Like I said before I put blame on the media too for putting the little girls name on tv and then on the internet say that thay will not release her name for her safety. Hello they already did. And for the mother there are real ?'s that any one would ask. I am just as thankful that nothing hhappened to her and applaud her for being so brave non the less the ?'s are still there and you put them out there as well you did offer the information she was in a foster home. So if you don't want people to try to get all the facts then don't put your buisness out there. I want this sob caught just as much as everyone else

I think it is absolutely ridiculous that some of you are thinking this little girl is lying. Shame on you!

I understand what your saying Just Thinking but, before you go and put the blame on a mom who messed up in some way, but now has her children back think about it. The playground where this took place is right behind her house. She was out there keeping an eye on her children, but then she had to go back in the house. Do you know the EXACT area this took place? Have you been there or even seen it driving by? The park is very close by and she had other children inside the house to watch. I will say it again. You don't know the whole story. Not even Wood tv has the enitre story. They only showed the important parts.

Anna don't listen to people that just have negative things to say, things like this can happen to anybody at any time, this doesn't have anything to do with the mom, this is a criminal at fault. I don't understand why the mom comes into fault, her child was just outside playing, many of us let our children go to the yard, we can't be ourside with them all the time. For example me, I get home from work and I have things to do, I can't sit outside all evening watching my kids every move. The problem are the criminals that are around our neighborhood.

YES. She lives in the left apt. with two in the middle and one across from her I know right were this took place andyou can not see the apt. from inside her house where she was. I also know what she does in her spare time what so before you attack me remember I know this story too. Maybe the mother was in her house smoking a joint with one of her many pot smoking naibors. I KNOW You don't want me shed light on many other things I KNOW.

I also agree with just thinking. Anna you don't know jack. Because I also could put a lot of light on this situation. I also know things that I'm sure that the mother would rather not have the public know.

MY Little sister's mom doesn't smoke pot. DOn't even try and put all of the blame on her... Can I ask you something? How old are you. I'm gonna assume adult because that's how we should act anyway... How can you make ignorant comments like that? "Maybe she was smoking pot with one of her friends." That's just plain ignorance. Do you know her personally? I think not so again, YOU DON'T KNOW THE WHOLE STORY SO JUST BACK OFF!! She lives there because that's all she can afford. She has other kids to watch besides the 7 year old and she was being a good mom and taking care of them as well. Just because you know where she lives and what you think she does in her spare time, your not a realtive or even someone who knows her personally. I just want you to understand that making this out to be all my sister's mom's fault is just stupid. The guy knew not to go and try and take an innocent child if the mom was out there or not. You may know what wood tv showed you or some rumors but your not a relative, as I am. If you don't know someone how can you accuse them of stuff they don't do? I really don't understand you...

Do you know me?( the better question would be do I know you?) You don't know what I know. She's raising my little siblings... Of course I know her. email me if you really want to "shed some light".
