Obama will be on "This Week". Biden will be on "Meet the Press". McCain will be on "Face the Nation". Palin....? Usuaually the week after the conventions the partys will showcase their candidates on the Sunday morning talk shows. This year Palin is M.I.A. Why is this? McCain's campaign manager says they will only put her on the talk show network if it serves their best interest. So a speech taken right off a teleprompter is in their best interest but questions from a reporter is not? Seems like they dont have a whole lot of confidence in their newly chosen golden girl.

Yes, hide the self-righteous elephant in the room. Glad he took time to properly vet this "lady".

Palin can't give answers because she doesn't understand the questions. The McSame camp is intentionally not allowing her to field ANY questions because they have not taught her the script yet. Right now the McSame camp is putting her through the "Eliza Doolittle" crash course in an attempt to possibly be able to prop her up at some point enough to answer remedial policy questions. She was just a gimmick pick.

Your name says it all. BTW, the Cubs and the Obama campaign seem to be on the same path lately.

Read the latest polls, he is not leading anymore. After the massive turnout for the RNC Osama/Biden is done... quote of the day: Obama's Running Mate, in 2007:'I think he can be ready, but right now I don’t believe he is.' Man, the attack ads on Obama featuring quotes from his own running mate are just going to be brutal: ABC’s George Stephanopoulos:“You were asked is he ready. You said ‘I think he can be ready, but right now I don’t believe he is. The presidency is not something that lends itself to on-the-job training.’” Sen. Biden:“I think that I stand by the statement.” (ABC’s “This Week,” 8/19/07) Picture the voice over: "If his own running mate has doubts about whether he's ready for the job... shouldn't you?" 08/22 11:39 PM

Jealous of Obama? Hardly. Jealous of the Cubs? Hardly. BTW, being in first place only matters when the season is over and the election is over. Other than that, it's meaningless. Just ask Ohio State, the New England Patriots, John Kerry or Al Gore.

Obama IS leading in the polls. You might not want to check out the electoral college standings right now either. Its bad news for McCain.

I did check the polls before I posted, I am guessing you did not. This poll was before McCains speech which if you didn't know drew more viewers than Obamas speech... A new national poll puts Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain in a dead heat - 42 percent to 42 percent - as they begin their two-month sprint to the Nov. 4 presidential election. The CBS poll was conducted from Monday to Wednesday, before the GOP convention ended with McCain's speech Thursday night. It shows a convention week bounce for the Arizona senator, who trailed Obama by 8 points, 48 percent to 40 percent, in a CBS survey taken last weekend.

That's odd because you may want to go to www.gallup.com , which DOES include polling AFTER McCain's speech. And that big RNC turnout you mentioned earlier. Are you kidding me? Have you ever been to the Xcel Energy Center? I have and it's not near as large as what it seemed on television. It holds 20,000 people, and I saw lots of empty seats every time they did a camera pan of the arena. I guess if 20,000 is bigger than 80,000 (the # of people that showed up to watch Obama's speech at the DNC), then sure, McCain had a HUGE turnout. It's kind of like yesterday where McCain drew a whopping 7,000 people in Sterling Heights, a suburb of the largest city in Michigan. On the other hand, Obama drew a crowd of 18,000 in Battle Creek and actually had to turn away 1,000 people. You can say none of this matters, but it does. It shows that people are a lot more excited about Obama than McCain. That will matter in November. Also, regarding the polls, there's a surprise waiting...And that's the amount of first time voters that Obama is drawing in. Those people aren't polled, and I can guarantee you it will make a difference. Just saying...

As far as Palin not appearing on Sunday programs, It does not matter. McCain can speak for himself as the Presidential nominee. However, the Left is going to misunderestimate Palin just like they did Bush.

I wouldn't go to a rally if it was at the park at the end of my street. I've got things to do.
