McCain is due to announce his running mate at a rally in Dayton, Ohio on Friday.Pawlenty had been thought to be on the short list, along with former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, independent Sen. 1 I definitely would not pull the handle for someone based on race, sex, weight, height, religion, etc. But, I have to say that having a woman as strongly suited for this position actually being in the running is exciting, intriguing and definitely what this race needed. I also REALLY like it because she really hasn't been mentioned by the media basically until this morning. What the clincher is though is that she's really a no none sense type of woman. The fact that she's stood up and outed those in her own party no less as corrupt. That takes guts, and that's what we need as a member of leadership in our country. It kind of goes with McCain's stance on pork barrel spending and earmarks on bills. I like it. |

I am not familiar with the wikipedia site and their biographies, so I don't know if it is biased or not in any way. But I have to say, I was EXTREMELY impressed with the credentials and the information they gave on her. Boy, I hope this is true, and she will be the nominee for V.P. She sounds wonderful! How many democrat women would jump ship and vote Republican because she is added to the ticket? |

Wikipedia, as far as I know really couldn't be biased. They're more of a dictionary site so to speak maintained by regular web people like you or I. At least that's what I've always assumed. I was impressed too mom. I have to say I was incredibly touched too when reading the story about her youngest son with Down Syndrome. She seems like the right woman for the job. |
