Please remember one of the things Engler didn't stop, that would be the pay raises. Guess who benefited from them? Yes, the Dems also! Guess who fought it? VERY few and it got buried in committee faster than it could go anywhere.
Remember, in Michigan, they have to vote to TURN DOWN a pay raise, otherwise it's an automatic.
So tell me, has Jenny rejected any of that money? Has anyone else?

And yes, Engler did his fair share to screw up this state, like I said, blame both sides.
The point is, she's had 5 YEARS to do something about it. What has she done? Brought in a handful of jobs while loosing thousands more and taking a vacation to Europe every year under the guise of bringing in more jobs. Yep, she brought in a few.. from already established companies on the EAST side of the state.

No she didn't create NAFTA or CAFTA. You can thank Bush 41 for starting it and Clinton for signing it.
But also look at the amount of taxes that are on businesses in this state. We have become VERY unfriendly for businesses in Michigan. Let's also look at the union stronghold we have here that they don't have in the south. THAT has cost us too because Toyota doesn't want to have to deal with the UAW. Do you blame them?
Oh, and some of the jobs that have left Michigan? Not all of them have left the country, just the state.
