Thankfully we found it for $3.77 this weekend. But now that Consumers is reaming us all, what does it matter. While it may look like a break in one area of an expense for people here in this state, it proves not to be true at all. BP&M all we want, we're all bent over the same ol barrel.

Even if the politicians ever come together on a plan to drill here it won't stop the price of oil from going up. It'll take at least 10-15 years, if we started the plan today before we'd see any of the benefits. Oil will keep going up regardless.

If someone invented artificial gas? We can fly to the moon and back so why is this so hard?

The Rockys are loaded as is Alaska. Off Shore may take a little longer. But it still needs to be done.

I think we should start making fuel out of politicians. It's renewable, and would make me feel like they were really making a practical difference in my life. I hope they get good gas mileage.

I just got gas at 2:00 at the Family Fare in Zeeland. I paid 3.84 for regular. At 4:00 I went back there to fill up the gas can for the lawn mower. The pump now said $3.75 for regular and $3.84 for mid-grade. Being 50 I thought my mind was playing tricks so I got my receipt from earlier and sure enough the price for regular gas dropped .09 cents within two hours. I went in to pay for my lawn mower gas and asked them if they dropped the price of gas by .09 cents since two o'clock and you would swear I caught them with their pants down. Neither attendant wanted to admit that they dropped the price of gas .09 cents. I wasn't asking for a refund which I should have, I was just asking if they just dropped the price of gas and neither one of them would say anything. Another guy walked in behind me and asked them "what gives?" and they gave him the same dumb look.

Because the powers that be can CHARGE for it. We have the technology (buried) to work with free energy...and that is the key...free. Its not worth it to the big boys if they can't make a buck. Check out some of the quarterly profit statements. It doesn't matter how low the price of fuel gets. Electric is going up and the economy has already been trashed.

If we act now we will save ourselves money down the road PLUS we won't be supplying our enemies with $$$ buy bullets to shoot at our soldiers.

Heads up! With a "Tropical Storm" affecting a few platforms in Texas, gas will surely go up another buck because of it. Heck, a guy lights a fart on an oil platform and it goes up ten cents.

Why would they drop it back to $2? Makes no sense. Would you voluntarily give up a raise? Voluntarily? I would not. If they were to pay me an exorbitant amount I would take it w no questions asked. Sure we carp about the price, but many do very little more than complain about it. I drove back from Up North this past weekend on 31 so. I drove 70 & took my life in my hands. People in big old V8 SUVs were shooting around me @ 80+ mph. Some were towing 22 foot boats, too. Wow. Guess not everyone is hurtin'.

Anyway the clerks have little to do w it. Following orders. Just use less.

Don't look forward to keeping these lower prices the hurricane tropical storm whatever was heading for the refineries in Texas. You can bet they will go back up here real quick. Any time anything goes on like a natural disaster or something with the war they raise the prices.

We actually need the price of gas to go up at least $2.00 a gallon. Then maybe all of the soccer moms with their monster SUV's would stop driving all over town with 1 kid in their vehicle. Maybe, just maybe then people would conserve a little more. Oil is not here forever, so start planning now. Drilling for more, releasing from the reserve and all of that other crap will just lower the price, which in turn will make people care less about how much the use. Filling the tank should hurt more. The ones whining are the people buying $4.00 Starbucks coffee anyhow.
