This sickens me as well. I am so angry and sad that that people can be so heartless,cold & cruel to animal.It is often a prelude to what they will do to people too. It made me cry as well. I laid and just looked at my dogs on my bed,then held and cuddled them, when I saw this. Don't cry sweetie she will get hers in the end there is no way she didn't know that dog was there and suffering. Hopefully she wil met a similar fate a few months caged up would do her some good.

That would be an outrage but you are probably right the laws need to be changed .

Hopefully she will be prosecuted under Busters law and will spend up to a year in jail.However that is not long enough to me,being starved,in a crate in the cold is much more fitting for her. She will meet her maker in the end. This was investigated before her arrest,neighborhood kids tried to feed the dog but it was too late,sadly. Why NO ONE else in that neighbor hood called anyone amazes me as well?? I am relativly new to NY,therefore, I am not all that familar with many areas of Albany & surrounding areas.People have said if I knew that area,the people that lived there,I would have a better understanding. I do not think I will ever understand this sort of thing no matter what! How can humans allow anything to die? Can someone better explain this area better to me? Thanks,still very sad over this,Deb

I'll be writing and mailing my letter tomorrow - she should be punished. Thank you for posting the ADA's name and contact info. Come on everyone, write on in - it'll take a few minutes and a 42 cent stamp - well worth the effort.

Animal abuse is so terrible, it makes me so sad to think that somebody would deliberately try to hurt a poor, sweet animal like that. People who abuse animals disgust me...

I surely hope that she will get punished for what she did. Nothing will be as painful as what that poor little dog suffered I am sure. But God is our judge and at some point - in her death - she will have to face Him and answer fro what she did.
Remember > let go and let God < I know that is hard to do but please try and leave it in His hands.

Thank you people for caring so much as to write letters to this DA. The more the better - at least we tried.
She will have her time with God yes, but for now people lets try to give her half the hell she put that poor animal through.

Absolutely MEME! Even a postcard to the ADA would be helpful. We need to be the voice for these animals (four-legged, that is).

You know whats even better ? We could all send the ADA Christmas cards inside put a little note on how we feel about this issue.It might get it to them faster? We could even make the cards with pictures of our pets so they can see the outrage we feel about this case. Its only a suggestion hope I didn't create a mess with this suggestion.

Lets just hope the secretary (who is the gate keeper afterall) in that office is an animal lover and feels the emotion we all feel over this case. That way - the letters/cards will make it to the desk!

There is also going to be a Petition put up there by an atorney in NYC and a PIT Bull advocate. She put up a post there yesterday and is asking for this information.
She also posted a phone # and email for DA McNalley in the comments section to get ahold of him.
So if someone can let me know here or there I would appreciate it. There is power in numbers and I would like to see this woman prosecuted to the fullest extent possible.
