Harlem Pastor Faces New Allegations Of Sex Abuse

I know Mr. Crumbley. I do not find him to be trustworthy in the least.

My thoughts and prayers (what few i have) are with the abused. This is the most difficult part of coming forward about being abused. The scorn from those who just don't want it to be true. Be strong.

Why did he wait so long to report this god forbid if it was ME that was abused I would have run home and told my parents I would have not kept bottled up inside of me for decades

There is another discussion on this topic with more participants. I think they should read what you have wrote. it is found under "Monsingor Wallace Harris asked to step down". I just don't understand how information about Eric is not being heeded.

"Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." Also, let he who was actually there to see what happened with Msgr. Harris and Pastor Crumbley say it with certainty. You can't. So it would be decent of you to not judge and show wome grace and decency on a sensitive subject that you know nothing about -- being a personal victimn of sexual abuse. It's serious, and it's nothing to throw stones at. Shame on you who are doing so. I pray for you. I have to remember that it was the religious folks who crucified Jesus. But Christ in his grace said to forgive them for they know not what they do. So in this case, "forgive these ignorant people, Lord, for they know not what they say!"

all of you crumbley followers listen up. your so called pastor is nothing but a copy cat liar. Ever been to St.Charles? Well every type of ministy that crumbley has in his church has been going on for years at St. Charles. Funny how everything that he has set up at Harlem faith center is and exact copy of what we have at St.Charles. And for all of you St. Charles people go and check out the web site for Harlem faith center. This man has copied every program that we have at St.Charles to the letter. Every thing that this man has supposedly done for the community is exactley what Monsignor Harris has done before him. All Eric Crumbley has done is follow everything that Monsignor Harris has done and set up a church of his own. The only problem with that is he will never have as much respect and prosperity as Monsignor Harris has with St.Charles. It is obvious even to the blind that
Eric Crumbley is jealous of the respect and the following that Monsignor Harris & St.Charles recieves. Harlem Faith center will never be as well known as St. Charles no matter how hard Eric tries to copy our church. No matter how much food he gives out, no matter how many ministies that he tries to set up, no matter how many choirs he tries to organize. These things have been going on in St.Charles for years. People come from ALL OVER THE WORLD to visit St.Charles Borromeo. People from all over harlem and futher know of the food pantry at St.Charles. Let's see Eric get tractor trailer's full of turkey's for thanksgiving and give then to the multitudes of hungry in harlem. Right now their are people in other countries praying for the return of Monsignor Harris. You know why? Because they have been to our church and heard him speak, heard how the choir sings and has felt the Holy Spirt right in St.Charles. They have left and went home to their countries and have spread the word of St.Charles Borromeo in harlem and as a result every week we get vistors by the bus loads. So as I said before you crumbley followers think about why he might be jealous of our pastor and our church so much that he would make up all of these false allegations, but yet try to follow all of our practices to the tee!

Cherish don't feel sorry for me,feel sorry for eric because come judgement day God will get him for the false accusations. And futhermore I feel sorry for you because you stand behind a man who supposedly waited 30 years, plus he waited until two anonomous individuals came foward with their claims. Not only that, he came to ST.Charles to spy on what was going on in our church 2 days before he made his allegations. And he had the nerve, the gall, and the audacity to ask church members what he could do to help. So his way of helping was to make these allegations. If the first two anonymous accusers waited 20 years, and it was past the statue of limitations. Why would he come and copy them and his supposedly happened 30 years ago. He has no proof,no wittness,and he is a blatent liar. Don't get me wrong I do think that people who have been molested for their own reasons keep it to themselves somtimes for years and then tell. As far as the first 2 accusers, if you notice not many people are trying to judge them #1 they are anonymous and we don't know what they are exactley stating that he did. We still don't believe that they were molested by Monsignor Harris. But we have not called them names or been aggresive twards them just upset. But this Eric Crumley has made himself known by doing the things that he did and he just shows his true colors the way he has done them. How on Earth can this Man call himself a Pastor. What kind of pastor is he really? This is not the way a man of the cloth should conduct himself. He is a FRAUD!

I know both Father Harris and Eric Crumbley. I attened St. Joe. When we were kids, Eric was a bully, and a 'know-it-all'. Father Harris was a well-respected man. I think that even if this is true ... Eric should have not have exposed Father Harris like this. He should have just moved on with life. This will destroy Father Harris career and his reputation in the community.

Harlemboy, until you have walked in someone else's shoes or have been an abuse victim, not you or anyone else is qualified to judge what someone else should have done in any situation. I say this repsectfully as a former abuse victim of my late stepfather. People need to STOP and look in the mirror and PRAY! It cracks me up how you so called "saved" folks are the first to condem the actions of others but not your own. You are as quick to defend your pastor as we are ours so how can you have a problem with that. I have sympathy for people who have been abused. I think that it is the worst crime on earth to abuse a child in any way espcially sexually. But in the same way I hate a liar just as much. I am not saying that everyone is lying but I am saying that at this point I don't think God could come down on this earth and make me believe the eric crumbley story.
