Oh, too bad for Governor Spitzer, the holier than thou **** who decided to stick it to radio program directors. Sure, the radio guys overstepped their bounds, but this jerk made his reputation on tracking down these "bad" guys. Too bad he wasn't looking for real criminals instead of guys who took some trips from record companies. At least these radio guys weren't getting record companies to pay for hookers. Nice job, governor, well played.

As usual. a Democrat will try to hold his seat even though he has broken the law, disgraced himself and harmed his wife and family AND proven himself to try to be ABOVE THE LAW BECAUSE HE THINKS HE'S AN ELITE If he had any self respect, morality, love of his family and respect for his office he would resign. Let's just see what happens. We Republicans DO expect higher standards of our elected officials - Democrats in the main believe anything goes and that's what's wrong with this country - no moral or ethical standards from the left and POWER is the only God.;

Goodness - does Spitzer realize that George Fox (his alias) is the name of the man who founded the Religious Society of Friends...i.e., Quakers?

I hope not. If he knew, then that would add to his fall, IMO.

Justice will be done. He was cruel, persecuting innocents. He should do the unselfish thing and resign, but apparently he will not.

As if I'm not having enough fun watching Democrats eat themselves alive for their party's Presidential nomination, Spitzer, a profane, innapropriate, and two-faced liberal, gets caught with his yearnings open. It get much better than this. At least not yet.

Interesting alias. George Fox, well known in the 1600's for highly Christian values university based on virtues similar to Quakers.....

I think Governor Spitzer should resign. What he did is a crime. I am a registered Democrat and can no longer support him.

Elliott Spitzer has my deepest empathy for the predicament in which he finds himself.

Politically, I think he has to resign, unfortunately! Only because he will likely be indicted by the Feds for this. I have been, and am a big fan of his work. Yet with this issue following so closely on the Troopergate scandal, moots his ability to govern effectively, and for that reason he should resign.

Honestly, I really don't think that we should confuse someone's personal life with their ability to do their job. As long as he can represent the best interest of the public, what he chooses to do after he goes home from work, is his business. You know, he is not married to the public!

Let the spinning begin. Spitzer is trying to get OJ's defense team and Bubba's lawyers to defend himself. He is desperately trying to get Martha Clark to prosecute and Dan Rather and Baghdad Bob to act as his public relations team. In a little over a week the only comment the main stream media will have is, "Eliot who?"

Whats the big deal? This is typical of the character of the huddled masses he calls progressives. The street mob and spoiled college elietes
will find him another hero of the cause. He now has street credibility for Obama's VP. Bravo Mr Ness another wonderful example of the children of organized crime in politics. He should of gone to Vegas with the Kennedy types.
