https://www.dtv2009.gov/

It does take about 3-5 months. I applied in Jan & just got them last week. When you fill in the form it goes back to the first page and does not let you know that it went through. I thought it was a faulty site but like I said, I did get them. Good luck

My mother received (2)$40.00 coupon vouchers. She is not in need of them afterall. What does she need to do with them? Can she give them to someone else in need of them? Or does she need to return them back to the sender? How do I get in touch with someone to find out all of this information?

OK. Here is the even bigger joke. We made another attempt at calling and actually got through to a human. What a miracle! The individual openly admitted that I should have had my coupons by now and would file a report (Whatever that means!). They said someone would be calling us within a week (Fat Chance!). What has become obvious is that my coupons are lost and now it will now take months to straighten this whole disaster out. What stinks even more is that I can't even apply for new coupons because 2 is the limit. Is this a goverment operation or what?

the web site is: https://www.dtv2009.gov/ApplyCoupon.aspx , fill out the questionaire and you will get your credit card type vouchers within 3 weeks. why call an 800 # when you have internet? use them at Wal-Mart, Radio Shack, or Circuit City. its really a no-brainer, apply once...unlike you repeat commenters?!

Fred:
Your missing the point. I applied for my coupons 4 months ago (January 8th). I have a reference number and everything else I need. If it should only take three weeks, why have I waited 4 months? I called via phone to find out what happened to my coupons. They themselves can't even answer the question. It's not a no brainer if you never got your coupons and nobody can tell you why.

This is my final posting. I just want to leave everyone with a warning. As mentioned before, I ordered my coupons in January. After a month of contacts with the folks at dtv2009.gov , they have agreed that my coupons were either lost in the mail or stolen before they got to me. To make matters worse, they said that they are not allowed to issue me a new set. Yes, I am out of luck. If you have been waiting for a long time, your coupons may not be comming. The only "NO BRAINER" left for me is to have as many people I know apply for me at their household and hope they actually get them.

Good Luck

I to tryed to applie for coupon and it just sent me to this goverment grant page for crap i didnt even give a rip about but when i was finished taking there servay i didnt even get an email they said would be to me in 5 minutes so this hole converter box thing is a big bunch of BS if you ask me... the goverment sucks and they need to focus on important things like dropping gas prices and food prices before there are thousands of people out of work or homes cause they cant afford the gas to go to work to make the bills ...

I have applied twice online. Haven't received anything.. Husband thinks I make these story's up. Even though I have printed out recuests for them. And gave him the copies. Oh, well. I don't know why he doesn't handle some things himself. Yes, talking about $40.00 coupons.

<quoted text> Why should the Gov't give you anything free? It's only TV, don't watch TV! People act like their life will come to an end if they cant watch TV, I know people who have great lives WITHOUT TV. So all you cry babies if you want a converter box get up off you fat lazy rear end, get a job and buy your own, dont expect the tax payers to give you one for free. It's hard to belive that you people are so wrapped up in this TV trash and there are in the USA that are in real need. GET A LIFE!!!! AND GROW UP PEOPLE!
You're being a little harsh, don't you think so? but gotta agree about the almighty Tv. TV makes people stupid! LOL
Anyway, I'm sure folks here have jobs. Had my old analog TV not been so darn heavy, I would have thrown it in the garbage a long time ago but I've given it new life with the govt give-away,(almost ie $40 coupon) besides, you should appreciate that TV is a commercial product and there is nothing free about it. Hey, what percent of people were still watching analog TV? Advertisers want those folks, maybe they lobbied Washington for the give-away coupons system. One last thing, the air-waves is probably one of the biggest government give-aways since the railroad system, which was a real estate give-away.
