Just for your information, what you said on the air tonight was not only hear in New York, but also in California. As a satilite cusomer I have New York channels and surprise half way thru Medium I got to hear Sue drop the F-bomb. I hope that news achors remember that they are miked and that language is not approiate for the work place.

Sue, I've been watching you everyday since 1992 when I was only 5 years old. Today, I continue to watch you and Chuck. As a broadcaster on the radio and the internet, I forgive you; everyone made mistakes and so do I. I hope to see you at 5 and 11!

I also heard the comment. I get 4 NY through my satelite. Thank god I have tivo, I had to rewind to see if I actually did hear the f*** bomb. The comment was totally inapropriate and you should of made an apology right away, not waiting till the newscast.

I love you Sue. It happens. I've been watching you forever and will continue to.
Actually, this might help ratings - it is sweeps month and this will certainly get some attention.

Ms. Simmons is supposed to be a role model (whether she accepts that title, or not). Twenty five years in the business would have (should have), at the very least, taught her that. While Ms. Simmons should not be expected to be professional in every way in her personal life (at home, etc.), she should be held to a higher standard in her professional life.
In other words, her cursing was inexcusable; and, she should, at the very minimum, be suspended or reassigned, if not fired. An apology is certainly not enough. And, to clarify, the profane word that Ms. Simmons used was not just offensive to "many" people, it was/is offensive to "most" people.

You also need to apologize to the person you said it to, publicly. I stopped watching the news on NBC years ago because of your seemingly obvious nasty attitude and manner. I happen to watch Medium, and when I heard it, I wasn't at all surprised. You should be fired for talking that way to a colleague. It was no mistake.

**** ROCKS! Ain't another female anchor that will ever touch her and her talent.(sorry Katie) It was purely a mistake. Stop judging her! There is only one person that will judge all of us and it ain't your holy rollers out there. The apology was made, it is done, get over it and move on.
