Why is that most of the comments against Sue appear to be from outside the NYC area?... Using the F-word in NY is like asking someone if they want a cup of coffee ... if you find it offensive, watch Fox since they are so pure of heart and language (yeah, right)...

Her apology is a complete joke.

Who was she abusing with the nasty comment? Did she apologise to that person? BTW I'm 52 and she has been on since I was 22 give someone with class a break.

I can't believe NBC would stoop low enough to actually put a poll like this up on the web! Imbeciles.

Don't get fired, get help. Make a public apology directly to the person you attacked. Don't make some lame 'sorry' general statement. Explain yourself!!

Bill said- "give someone with class a break."
Class???
Having over 30 years experience is no excuse for this behavior.
Sue should start working on her resume.

Come on folks. This whole argument is asinine. She obviously saw she was off camera, and her lines were over, so she assumed the 'professionals' in the audio room would follow the script and 'pot her down', which instead they muted, and flipped it back up within a second, probably by accident, and she got 'caught with her pants down' while being **** -off at someone...(makes a difference to find out who it was, folks... ).
stop it already

If we were to learn that someone was doing something to her that was extremely offensive and inappropriate, I'd wonder how these self-righteous people would respond.(what if someone was reaching for her pinned-on mic and...:0

It was an accident. People have said much worse and not by accident. Everyone makes mistakes. I think she's great!

Sue
For years, you have handled yourself in a positive and professional manner and have been a great anchor and representative for WNBC4 and New York.
The word you said, the context used, and to whomever you were talking ,shows total disrespect for yourself, WNBC4 ,its employees, along with the listening audience.

SINCE IT WAS SUCH A STRONG LAPSE IN JUDGEMENT, YOU SHOULD STEP DOWN .
