Isn't it funny how you keep hearing the "heart beat away" comments from those on the left. I suppose the Obamabots among us fail to realize she has 100 times more experiece than the head of their ticket; unless we're talking about "community organizing" that is.

Palin and the republicans have a weak argument against the democrats. I am not impressed or inspired by anything they have presented, especially their plight for the religious and working class vote. If republicans are voted into office this year it will be a very disappointing time for this country. They will continue to lead by creating fear for americans which is not good for any of us.

All I hear is that Palin has experience in this and that.
Well, if she has as much experience as Bush we are royally RUBARED
Plus isn't McCaine the one that is up for President and not Palin.
This is turning into a Palin vs Obama debate. Looks like the grand old party dosen't believe in McSame.

Also, if Palin's daughter becomes a charity case and people start calling her "brave" I'm leaving.
Before this an un-wed 17 y/o that was preggo was considered "loose" by the general public/media
Watch it become OK for it to happen since it's basically mainstreamed

Let's say something about experience and age regarding McCain's choice.
Alaska has a population of about 700,000 total. Very little overall infrastructure.
Rhode Island has over a million.
Los Angeles has nearly 4 million.

I find it hard to believe that being the mayor of a tiny town (pop. approx. 9000) in the middle of nowhere (no offence) and the governor of a state with less people in it than most major American cities, is the best choice that a candidate in his 70's could find to take over and run a country of approx 300 million should something like his death or incapacitation occur.

Considering the attacks on Obama regarding alleged 'inexperience', one has to wonder how Palin can even be presented to the public with a straight face.

There is only one reason, female. McCain expects (and some people no doubt will) to garner some of Hillary's supporter's.

Palin's background also does not compliment McCains in any way. She has done some good things in Alaska and made some changes, but nothing notable. Her accomplishments, at best, set her up for her position as governor in the state of Alaska. As I heard her introduction yesterday, I could not stop to think that her vitae was almost trying to hard and felt like she was campaigning for a presidential spot on a fraternal university campus. I am not impressed by her and do not have faith that she will lead this country in the way it needs to be lead now. She seems to have addressed her connections to the working class with her husbands job as an oil field worker, which helps people to relate to her, but she has also presented some immediate red flags with the not forthcoming information about her downs syndrome baby. Plus her the allegations about her brother-in-law. These issue are very small town issues and are a sign that she is a governor in the right state. She fits well with her working class family, her almost win in the beauty pageant, and moose herders.

I hope people see these red flags, as they would if they interviewed her one on one for job. This is not the right fit and we wish her well as governor, but this is not the time for Palin or McCain. Best of luck you two in your careers. We need people like you to question our direction as we continually re-invent this country, but clearly as Palin was introduced, Sarah is not going to re-invent herself. Unfortunately, that is exactly what needs to be done. We all need to grow and change as times change. This is exactly what a leader needs.

Experience. I have met many people who are experienced and horrible at what they do. Experience is a great learning tool, but only if we learn from it. Take the flip flop comments about her involvement about the bridge to nowhere. Palin supported it in the very begining but once she saw what was actually going on she put the kabash on it despite its support. This is what experience does, it often changes our minds because we are willing to learn and recognize the truth.

So think about this as you chose this year. Obama has yet to admit we are succeeding in Iraq despite all indicies. He constantly merges McCain and Bush together, despite McCain being obviously known to have his own opinions. Experience should teach us that somethings aren't true. The arrogant think they can make things true by teaching it.

It was obvious to all who Barack Obama should have selected for his running mate, and yet he did not have the courage to make a choice for women in this country. He is too consumed with his own image.

John McCain has courage!

Sarah Palin is a strong, smart, and savy woman who makes a fool out of the massive liberal media outlets and their scribblers.
McCain has really showed good judgement. He should be commended with a show of support from women all across the nation of every political stripe.
Conversely, Americans need to explore the personal lives of some these attack dogs for the DNC that are passing themselves off as journalists. They are public figures, so if the are a shill for Dems, lets get it out there and deal with it.

Liberal men in the media who have been personally attacking Sarah Palin and her daughter probably owe six-months back child support - if they have ever been with a real woman.
I think the liberal, biased media and liberal Democrats need to put a hand on each cheek and try to pull their collective head out of Obama's backside and take a breath.

I could not be more proud of my country than when I heard Gov Palin speak last night with the wisdom and courage strength of a person who has many years of experience in office and which is definitely not found in Obama. I was moved even more as she spoke words of encouragement to the people with special needs, and all of us every day people who are working hard to make better lives for themselves and families. She spoke words of pride that I feel for the many men and women all over the world who are defending our freedom. I was energized to hear her fearless words against the empty promises of Obama.I have faith that she has what it takes to make our country a better and safer place to live.God Bless her and our Country.

It was sarcastic, bitter, and divisive, but most importantly it was utterly empty of any content. Despite a journalism degree from idaho (we're talkin' intellect here!), and an ability to lip sync to the words of Bush's speechwriter (with phonetic spellings, no less (new-clear!)), she sounded like a high school student giving a class presentation. It was embarrassment to this country.(Not to mention that she's a right wing nutcase who believes the world was created 5,000 yrs ago and that the Iraq war was called forth from God!) And now the media just going bonkers over her, merely because she can pronounce words. What a crock.

So let's see... You think Sarah Palin is sarcastic and bitter.

You need to go back and read your vicious comments regarding Sarah Palin, then, smack yourself on the back of your head, change your diaper, and write; "I am the sarcastic one...." 100 times on notebook paper.
All that time, remember that you are why McCain/Palin will win in November....
