Buffalo crimes kept from the public?

Camera's recording but not preventing crime... information being withheld from the public... being investigating for corruption...

When is it going to stop Bryon Brown? And when is Buffalo going to wake up?

YUP supression of police investigations its a censor of public trust the news media will have to sue & use freedom of information act police state tatics as for BYRON BROWN he is just a stuffed suit a glory seeker

Not only are they keeping the stories from you, they are reclassifing crimes.Over the past few weeks alone the BPD has taken dozens of robberies which are felonies and reportable as part 1 crimes to the FBI for statistical purposes,and reclassified them as a "larceny with an assault" this is not reportable, so to the general public it looks like crime is down. Even worse DPC Derenda is ordering district detectives to "Dump" crimes as unfounded, the pressure he is putting on is incredible.For example; your on vacation and your house is burglarized, the neighbor calls the police,they arrive and the house has clearly been broken into,BUT because your not home and cant tel them what was taken, CASE CLOSED, NO BURGLARY.This is happening over and over.
While I'm at it lets talk about the folks running the show, starting with the Mayor, Mr. Brown is doing everything he can to be the law enforcement mayor trying to get to that US Senate seat he dreams of.He's got Derenda burying crimes,changing charges, spending a fortune on overtime,and keeping things from,and lying to the media. All the while the reality is the streets and schools are getting more violent and more dangerous than ever. Every single day, there is someone shot or stabbed, usually several, and dozens and dozens of burglaries,robberies,and assaults. Many of which you will never know about. And they will tell you everything is great. So why does Deputy Commissioner Derenda pull off this scam for the Mayor? simple , GREED!! Derenda owns ahirt business and gets all the contracts sent his way. just recently he had exclusive rights to sell all the shirts sold at the Italian festival. HE MADE THOUSANDS. He also just bought a vacant lot on S. Pierce, right on the water. Anyone you ask will tell you the only way to get that lot is with some serious connections, Did I mention? the guardrails that were on that lot misteriously disappeared,just before it became "available".
Mike Degeorge is another political hack, he cant speak,and doesnt have a clue what the police dept is about. He says what he told to say.
This Administration is out of control and is detroying our city.

They do the same thing over in Britain. A few years back the British Government outlawed virtually all firearms for civilians; those that were allowed were sporting shotguns, etc., which were heavily regulated and required to be locked up under police protection.

Long story short, the police in Britain have since been under-reporting violent crime, especially gun crime, which has not abated.

On the contrary, violent gun crime has probably actually increased in Britain, now that law-abiding citizens are disarmed and only the criminal thugs have guns!!!

This is no different then when his now spokesman,Peter Cutler,Hit-n-run motorcycle accident took off after rear ending the motorcyclist,also ran from Police when told to stop and tried hiding under a car in a backyard.He was drunk (BUT) never breathalyzed or charged for that offense,yet just 3 days after he hit this guy he walked on a Disorderly Conduct charge.It all boils down to who you know and what you can get away with.
Just look at Marshawn Lynch,another Hit-n-runner who walked away from the charges because who he is and who he knows.
It's a 2 tier system which needs a serious look at from the F.B.I.
This is just another fine example of the Brown Administration's Corruption from the Top.

Of course they want to keep it quiet - Buffalo has a bad name...so does Amherst, Tonawanda, Kenmore, West Seneca, where ever the buses go they go, bringing in the trouble. Bryon wants em outta Buffalo....all a cover up - in the burbs too!!!

I listen to "D" & "B" District calls on my scanner when I'm on my computer. I live in "D" District and know what is going on. Basically, it is too much to print in the News and not enough time to air on TV. "D" District police have their hands full 24/7 and do and excellent job. Yes, there are repeated crime areas. Do you want to know where they are? Well, just look for a blue blinking light on top of a TV camera, on a light pole.
If the news departments want to know what the Buffalo police are doing, just have a scanner going in the news room like like they did when I worked at WBEN Radio in the 80's.
By the way, listening to Buffalo Police Radio is better than watching the stupid crime TV programs.
