well well,I heard the police filed 2nd degree assult charges,is that not a feleny.Waynesburg Pa. you must be a relitive or somthing the punk got just what he asked for good for him and his parents cops keep up the good work!!!!

As a former worker with youth at risk, this kid is definately in that catagory...the mom should be ashamed of herself for not teaching her 6 foot (i am estimating) 140lb son respect for adults especially Law Enforcement. You answer a question with an answer not a rude comment, five words "my name is FIRST AND LAST".

This "kid" may be a teenager but how many teenagers experiment with drugs, officers need to protect themselves (broken arm) and the community without "knowing" (his words not mine) who he is. I also performed restraints on out of control youth in my former position and know first hand what addrenalin in a out of control youth is like....the scratches on this kid are nothing...he probably has had worse falling of his trycycle when he was three...shame on mom and the media for even publishing this one...mom thinks this is her lottery ticket..if it goes to court they wouldn't want me on the jury...

The officers deserve a commadation medal and a formal appology from the poor little kid and his mom. Channel 4 can cover that live.

He disobeyed an officer's request, and I am sure he was such a good boy when the officer told him to halt.
He got what he deserved, period. Go figure his cracked out mother is whining on the news. Oh, where's the kids father?? Yeah that's what I thought.

I urge everyone who is concerned with the officer's welfare to contact the department. It is publicly available on the web. A broken radius or humerus puts this officer off of the streets for a lengthy time.

Pray for this officer's recovery!
Because, you know, they're praying that the witness, photos, and x-rays don't get subpoenaed.

If you think the cops were so wrong. why dont you come up here to apply to be a Niagara Falls police officer? See if you can manage these punk kids better than you do the sheep on the farm. I give alot of credit to the underpaid and understaffed NF police dept. They risk their lives every day protecting the good people of this city and also the slacker parents of punks like that.

Maybe the cops acted correctly but, nowadays, it seems to me that our police are steadily becoming more akin to jack-booted thugs.

What ever happen to respect! When a police officer asked the child his name he should have given the information. What was taught to this child at home? Are police officers in our community to help us. YES!!!! They take risks for us everyday!!!

What do you mean he is just a kid, did you see the size of this kids head! He looks like Frankenstein. I've seen grown men who don't compare in size to this kid. Besides are all the police suppose to ask for a birth certificate now when they are arresting suspects. The kid is lucky he got away with just a few scratches! Give me a Break and stop making excuses for these kids. That is the reason they get away with everything!

one more point to make,is it true that age 13 he's exspeled from school,hum!!!

I am not surprised as they think they have that right to subdue anyone even if not guilty.Niagara falls cops are very rough, sometimes they have to be but not always. very sad about the 13 yr old getting hurt, and plz after everything they done to that child did they not expect him to be scared or a bit traumatized ? I hope the cop gets repromanded for his actions

Just remember this could be you and if u truly did nothing wrong other then not tell the cop your name then excessive force was not called for. Their has been other situations similar that were not called for and a very dear friend of mine who ended up dead due to negliance of nfalls police dept.

wow! you people that are supporting this kid are thick in head. This young kid has been a problem for years ask Tracy his mother why hes not in school.how many times she has been called by the school for fighting, this kid needs help he was shoplifting get a clue take off the blinders!!!!
