How about that "Bucky" Phillips? The only person held responsible for that disaster was some poor schmuck corrections officer who turned off the alarm, because anything and everything set it off. The Sheriff was the one who didn't have any officer in the kitchen to provide security while Bucky made himself an escape route on top of a cooler. You know what they say about what rolls down hill. The Sheriff and his minions are not accountable to anyone, even though they created the environment for Bucky to take advantage of. Maybe Sheriff Howard should use Bucky in his next campaign.

Moe Howard was seen marching at the Labor Day parade. Is he not responsible for firing people? I thought he got lost at the Erie County Fair, testing carny games. Stuck in a johnny on the spot, i here. His horse must be lonely. MOE HOWARD AT A LABOR PARADE? DID A TOMATO GREET HIS BULBOUS HEAD?

Sheriff Howard hired some bar hag from South Buffalo to run the jail - a maximum security facility with 600+ inmates and a staff of over 350 plus civilians. Must be nice to be on the friends and family plan of Howard and Giambra.
Also, if there is some friend or relative on the civil service list, no matter how incompetent, the Sheriff always finds a way to get them hired. What a joke. |

In case the jail hasn't been run into the ground enough, bring someone in who has no clue what goes on there. Typical, unfortunately for everyone involved with that place. |

The Sheriff and County Executive Collins just hired 100 new deputies to the jail to save the taxpayers money. However, all these new officers will have two weeks vacation next year and three weeks the next year. So, when they take these thousands of hours of vacation, now we'll have to pay deputies overtime to cover them, plus their vacation pay. Also add in all the benefits and it will cost more money than it did before they were hired. None of these new hires pay into their medical either. How is this saving money? It isn't. The county comptroller even said that the first fifty new hires was too much because of all these added costs. So the Sheriff and County executive hire even more! Whoopee!!

And this is why I love driving by the local Volunteer Fire Department parking lot, seeing EC Sheriff plate numbers so and so and this and that on the cars. Pretending to catch speeders in a very well marked, well known 30 mph speed zone/trap to see them nodding off asleep at the switch. Sorry about the run-on sentence, but this wasteful practice of county taxpayer dollars gives me the (fill in the blanks). And the village police chief (what a misnomer) doesn't even live in the village, nor know anyone except the politicians and other taxpayer paid appointees. Where is Uncle Luke, Big Luke? Yes, Chris Collins needs to spend some time in the Southtowns (not O.P. or E.A.)

I tried to stand up to Howard and his illegal and immoral practices at the Sherriffs Dept. but he and the legislature stood in my way numerous times. His department is corrupt and laden with political hacks. BD, RD, JA, BO'L, MR, PF and formerly PB, MB, and other hacks who weren't qualified to shine MY shoes. I was and am fed up with that department. And now Collins and Howard and attempting to thwart the feds from investigating too many dead prisoners. What are they hiding? They just gave away a million to a family because of their negligence. Someone please STOP these people before more mayhen occurs. |

This department is the most mismanaged, incompetent and just plain messed up department ever. It started with Patrick Gallivan hiring old college buddies and other political hacks. It's only gotten MUCH worse under Sheriff Howard. If the people in this administration had to run a private business, they'd be out on their behinds in a week. Just ask Mrs. Leary.

A Deputy fought for his life today in Marilla. Two guys attacked him and the nearest backup was downtown transporting an inmate. Fortunately other police agencies responded to help the deputy. This administration routinely runs short of deputies on the road. The only ones they care about are themselves.It makes me sick.

Mike was fired by Moe Howard cause he was stalking a woman who wanted a real Man for a BF not a middleaged bald alcoholic loser flunky like Benson. Then theres Bryan Doiley. Wife abuser several domestic Violence incidents with three women, arrests, Orders of protection, he runs around that place like he owns it. Im telling you Grover Cleveland's gotta bee rolling over in his grave the way these idiot troopers and their Hack political friends have Ruined the Scheriffs Dept. Then theres former BJ to the stars patty "i never met a dick i didn't like" Blowers. Talk about incompetence, political hack who literally Succkked her way to the top. my gosh, is that place a police dept. or a whorehouse??? |

Message to townies - Your taxes that you think are helping the juristiction you live in be patrolled by the E.C.S.D are not. Call Collins to find out if your township is being helped, with the money you've spent. For police help, that is.

Honesty...wherever it is spewed..is and should be respected! What do you have against the sheriff's dept anyway..don't they(technically) protect you daily?...do they know you hate them? Hmmmmmm! I adore them, it's just management that is messed up! |

The Sheriffs dept does not protect me at work or at home. Why are you stalking me on this forum? This topic is about the administration of the Sheriffs Dept. Forget about the courts! I do not hate the Sheriff or his department, get a life! |
