Sad but true!

Very true! I really haven't cared for the Bills since the Jim Kelley days. Football players seem to be too cocky and arrogant. Can't wait for the sabres to play. Its been a long summer.

I hear that, I can't wait for the Sabres to start again... hopefully the management knows more than the average fan, and has built a great team this year!I think the players will be more focused this year without all the controversy of losing the star players.

The start of last season was weird. It was like all the sabres were on the ice looking for drury and briere. I too think this season will be much better( i hope)!!!

Look at it this way: 1)More kids play hockey in the Buffalo area than football. Youth football is a dying sport while youth hockey has never had more interest. 2)The Sabres play 82 games a year plus playoffs, the Bills play 16 (they don't even make the playoffs anymore). Sometimes there's 3-4 Sabres games a week while at best there's 1 Bills game. 3)The hockey season runs from October through sometimes June (8-9 months) while footbal goes from Septemeber to December (4 months). If I had to choose only 1 sport to keep there's no question it would be hockey and the Sabres. Goodbye Bills.

Buffalo is a stink town!

Its very big on bolth i would say hockey though because im a sabres nut if they win or lose, and its so close to canada it has that feel of a hockey crasy city watching hockey night in canada and stuff.

With the managment at the SABERS I belive we will again see a wanna be team the MNGMNT screwed up each last 5 yrs let the good players go I still like to watch them

i would have to say most love both sports.
some lean towards the bills , others towards the sabres.
i love 'em both.....win , lose or tie .

The Sabres are a better class of fan and player.

It seems that Bills have fans that are complete WHITE TRASH. They are only interested in getting drunk and starting fights. They have no class.

Sabres fans on the other hand seem to be at the game to watch the game. They enjoy the sport of HOCKEY not binge drinking. The players are 110% better than the felons, drug dealers, wife beaters etc that seem to populate the Bills sideline.

Bufflao = Hockey town!!
