Jeff, you have hit the nail RIGHT on the head! I support legalization 100% and to add, marijuana has always gotten a bad rap because of misinformation, however, the truth lies in education. The government wants to keep it illegal because marijuana is a huge part of some departments’ budgets, Department of justice ...DEA. Marijuana is a drug that most pharmaceutical companies do not want to compete with. We spend billions of dollars of tax-payers money to fight a drug war we lost a long time ago. Why do we continue to throw money down the toilet in this country? I say, let the plant be legal and watch the hemp industry take off! Let the plant be legal and know it is helping sick people every day.

Weed should not be legal. We already have enough problems with all these idle young men & women who would rather get stoned than go to work. Foreskin, if it were legal then it would not be so expensive. How much does tobacco cost? How much does booze cost? I feel if Marijuana stays illegal, then every alcohol and tobacco product should be illegal! If we the people are going to create a "utopia" then all medication, natural or synthetic should also be outlawed!

I wish people would get some knowledge before they post. If you checked out some real facts, you will see that NO ONE HAS EVER DIES FROM MARIJUANA!!! How many die from tobacco and booze every year? Do the math!

Cannabis (the proper name for the substance being discussed) will NEVER be 100% legal in the society that we live in. The effects are way too dangerous to the way that the patriarchal society that we live in functions. This is the reason that other, more potent hallucinogens are illegal and highly suppressed through propaganda. Other illegal drugs that do fit into the patriarchy, cocaine for example are still illegal but are glamorized.

Legalize it, tax the heII out of it, get it from farms in the United States only, and everyone will be happy.
