With Buffalo State's Princeton Review "selectivity rating" of "64", would you expect anything less ? I realize this girl probably couldn't get into many other places, but Fredonia is also an idiot school and she could have avoided the thug life Or maybe she is looking for that lifestyle

Buff state has the best Communications department and the best education program (teacher training) than all other SUNY schools and both programs are accreddited among the Top Ten in New York State (for their respective fields). their graduate programs are allegedly in depth and tough as well (obviosuly depending on the subject matter).
The difference between UB and Buff State is simple. UB has tens of thousands of of classes each with 300+ students. Buff state offers 500 classes with 25+ students in each. It's an old debate...lecture hall with a teacher's assistant versus specialized/attnention driven learning where class participation is needed to pass.
And as for crime and violence, OBVIOUSLY there are more police calls and incidents at UB (as compared to Buff State). I say obviosuly because there are 10 times the amount of students.

Yes, you are somewhat correct. Buff State classes are smaller because dumber students need to have their hands held to get through the material. Buff State educates teachers, social workers, sportscasers like that fat idiot Kevin O'Connell, cops, and prison guards. UB educates doctors, lawyers, dentists, pharmacists, CEO's, professors, and engineers

Buff state, Fredonia, Neither are idiot schools. What an ignorant thing to say. Just because you are trash, doesn't mean kids that go to those schools are. I doubt you actually ever attended any kind of formal school. Probably a fat, lazy slob living in his mothers basement. A guy who got rejected by MCC at that. LOL

I am a social worker with a Masters in counseling and I went to Lehigh University, a school you could probably not get in to Life Coach. I do more good for this community in a week on my job than you can do in one year.

I work for SUNY Administration. I don't know what kind of bulls**t they fed you when you were there, but you are wrong on every point you made. Buffalo State is the least selective institution in any of the tiers (University Centers, University Colleges and Colleges of Technology). Embarrassingly enough they are also less selective than more than half of the community colleges within our system as well. As far as your other statements about being "accredited among the top ten" for communications and education. First of all, you don't know waht addredidation means because you used it in the completely wrong context. Second, I challenge you to tell me exactly what organization or publication has them ranked in the top ten of anything other than crime statistics. There are several extremely selective and renowned institutions in the SUNY System and Buffalo State is not one of them. I realize that your name is Biased Buff State Alum, but you are talking out of your ****.

I went to UB and UB is an "82", So maybe I would have gotten in, or maybe not. I never understood people who go to a good college for degrees in teaching or social work. What does a starting out social worker make these days? About $38,000 ? I will admit, that social workers sometimes do good things (like taking illegitimate children away from their junkie parents), but most of the time, you are nothing more than enablers for people who spend their lives on teh government teet

I guess Buff State has fallen a few points in the last few years. I knoew it was an idiot school, but I always thought they were a little better than Fredonia I went to grade school with this dunce who went on to graduate from Fredonia. I remember he would write all his spelling words on his desk so he could cheat on the test. He was so dumb, he would still get a 75 or 80 on the test. This guy grew up to work setting up soup displays in grocery stores

That you got into UB is a discredit to that institution more than anything else. Every decent institution has some intellectual bad apples I guess, but you're a disgrace to whatEVER college who let you creep out with a degree, assuming you did. I didn't know UB offered Bigoted Ignorance as a major.

Maybe I could have gotten in...maybe not Rutgers, however, has a selectiving rating which is 7 points below UB's, so I would most likely have been admitted there

I am sure you have never heard of it since you do not get out of Buffalo too often. Yes, social workers do not make a lot of money, but I am not in this field for the money. I have a husband who is successful and I work part-time when my children are in school. I love what I do, I dont think you can say the same about your job or your own life. You are one unhappy person.

Rutgers is much more selective than UB; higher SATs, higher grade point average. By the way, in the new US News & World Report rankings (not authoritative, I'll admit), Rutgers was ranked as the 66th best national university, and UB came in at 121st. That's still besides the basic point. You're an insensitive, unfunny, bigoted boob.
