"If" the school board is to hire Weeks back, they better get prepared for another "scandal". Because Galante isnt there any longer to sweep them under the rug to protect Weeks (yes it did happen). Also medina tax payers, pay attention to money spent on wages within the transportation dept. ALOT of unnecessary bus runs to keep the drivers wallets happy while our taxes go up and up. I am not talking about a run now and then, I am talking about daily waste of time, gas and money. PAY ATTENTION!! And this is just the tip of the trans dept. iceberg.
what you don't think this stuff has been going on for the last year - since weeks left?? get real

ONE question is did we get her because she will be getting a raise versus getting someone with experience. Hmm

Then I guess they should "clean house" and bring in Ridge Road express!! It would save us tax payers money in the long run since we wont have the expence of maintaining a fleet of buses that sit there and run for over an hour in the winter wasting tax payers money again and poluting the environment. Then after that they need to get a new secretary in the trans dept. one who can be polite when you call the trans. dept. office.

I believe a GED is more than Weeks had. Kudos to the female transportation director. Maybe she can "clean house". Get rid of the dead weight, and unecessary bus runs along with the trouble makers. Oh and the bus drivers who smoke on their bus. If you dont believe me just drop by her bus (129-SB) in the morning inbetween the high school and elem. bus run (around 7:30-8:00).

when the secretary is smoking on school grounds in the garage, office and sitting in the parking lot outside the door why should bus 129 worry about smoking on her bus every morning with a few other drivers - they watch each others back but wait there NOT the problem its everyone else. if the new supervisor is as sharp as they say lets see how many games the secretary and 129 get away with - perhaps suddenly one of them wont be cussing like a long shore fisherman and makin condescending comments at the staff and the other one wont be pushing others up to do her dirty work.

Good point...nobody is SUPOSSED to smoke on school grounds, BUT ALOT of people do...smokers, that is. Smell a custodial or boiler room lately? Teachers, aides, and adults visiting for a game get hawked down, but it seems the rule is only ignored for maintenance. The cafeteria workers at O.O. go across the street to be off grounds...why can't the others?
Just wondering

Tipical of all the school rules. They only enforce the ones they want to. The Dress Code is a real joke.I blame the ones that are in charge of the school buildings for not enforceing rules in their area.

Ya'd think safety would be a primary concern in that department - kids were passing around pictures of the gorham band trip with a bus driver loaded with kids pushing another bus that ran outta gas through an intersection. The way the kids described her ramming the white bus well Im surprised the only damage to that yellow bus was a broken mirror. If thats not a safety violation nothin is.

it is funny how stories get so exaggerated....no broken mirror on that yellow bus, a broken light lens.
