It's just a driveway near Hertel that they're asking for. Won't hurt anything and should help ease traffic backups on Hertel. Other side streets off Hertel have similar driveways and it doesn't create any danger in residential areas.

What a bunch of over-reacting lunatics. How much traffic do they think a video store is going to generate? You would think they were putting in a brother from the way that woman was screaming.

Mom's are great! They stand up for the safety of their children at all costs! All FAMILY Video has to do in the right thing for their patrons and keep them safe. Keep the driveway where it's been for 50 years! This co. exec. probably live somewhere in lala land on culdesacs anyway, clueless.

It only takes one car to kill a child. I see their point it's a residential street. It should have never been approved by the planning board of Buffalo and the councilman. But as usual not thinking of the tax payers or more importantly children. Wish my neighbors stood up for what right the way these parents do! City gov't hates people like this. They like you to keep quiet.

Just another over-reaction. TRY WATCHING YOUR KIDS. Then you will be sure they are safe. Or is that just an excuse to complain about it?

Try getting out of your driveway when traffic is surging down your street at 50 instead of 30!

What about the next business after the video store closes. Once the driveway is in it is there for ever. A store that is open 10 am to 12am daily will create more traffic on a street that is a residential street. Traffic should flow to the commercial street.

Where is the mayor through all this?
Did he show to listen to what the families concerns were or was he to busy at a photo opp. some where else. Hold these officials responsible. That pass these projects through and then pass the buck when they mess up!

I drive by that corner lot on Hertle and believe the driveway to the side street is for designed for customers exiting the store to get back on to hertle. I don't think it will increase trafic on the side street. Hopfully a mutual agreement will be reached such as (left turn only)..

FAMILY VIDEO IS AGAINST FAMILIES!
THEY MOVE INTO RESIDENTIAL AREA'S AND DESTROY ANY SAFETY OUR SIDE STREETS HAVE. SHAME ON OUR MAYOR, COUNCILMAN LOCURTO AND THE PLANNING BOARD FOR PUTTING OUR FAMILIES IN THIS POSITION TO BEGIN WITH!
