New England Patriots spy on Buffalo Bills, other opponents

It looks like the New England Patriots spied on more of their opponents than previously thought, including the Buffalo Bills.

should be stripped of their 2002 super bowl win if found guilty of this . Cheating can't be tolerated .

This is absolutely unjust. The NFL should strip the New England Patriots of their " Super Bowl " ring, take away their draft picks for the next four years, should suspend the coaches and staff that knew what was going on with out pay etc. This is not good for the younger crowd that is starting to learn and understand what the game of football means. Also what type of message does this send out to college football, high school football and little league football.

Somethign needs to be done and needs to be done in the matter that is satisfactory.

I had a distinct feeling that the Patriots were taping the Bills as well as other teams, but will the league do anything further to the "Cheatriots" reamins to be seen.

the only reson the patriots spyed on the bills was for a lot of laughter in the locker room or to see how far into the first quarter the first team should play....

I believe the team that get caught
cheating and stilling singles from any
team should be suspended for the season or fine five games and a 50 million dollar fine. because 750,000 is not enough for a fine becaue if we win the superbowl i'll do it again next year, and that goe's for every team in the leage.

New England should fine 20,000,000 per team that
they cheated on because the loss the teams suffered can not be replaced.

This is a terrible message to send to our children. They should be totally ashamed.I think they should not be able to play at all this season, they only got a slap on the wrist the last time they got caught. I'll bet they were laughing at the commisioner all this time.I think all the teams that lost to them should be givin credit for the games they lost to these (loosers)I really had a feeling all season that they had to be cheating.I think IF they are allowed to play this year they should be searched before they go out on the field for spy ware. This is sooooooooo discusting.I do hope they get more than a slap on the wrist this time. They are ruining sports for everyone but especially their fans and the kids that looked up to them.Judy

Well, all I can say is, Goodell better have a strict code of conduct regarding what has happened. And I know this sounds funny, but what if all of last season's games were forfeited because of cheating? The Bills would win the AFC by default.

If Mr. Walsh is in possession of such videos, which I'm sure the patriots do not sanction...then it is resonable to assume that Mr. Walsh has done lots of other things not sanctioned by the team, such as when, what or whom he is filming. Furthermore, why would Mr. Walsh need protection... ie. amnesty prom prosecution, if he did nothing wrong in the first place?
The Patriots organization does not deserve to be a patsy for the indescretion on one.

BOY I BET IF THE COWBOYS GOT CAUGHT CHEATING THEY WOULDHAVE A HUMAN SACRIFICE ON THE FIFTY YARD LINE ... how come all the sports announcers tried to sweep this story under the rug?i saw more coverage of jessica simpson at the cowboy game than i did of this pack of cheats. NO DESERVING EMBARRASSMENT TO THE NFL. WHATS UP WITH THAT

There were no explicit rules against this in 2001 so I don't see how you can want to take away rings and punish them more. If anyone thought that the Jet's game last year was an isolated incident they aren't very bright.

Besides, stealing signals is a part of sports and it always has been. It happens in baseball every day (granted they don't use video cameras) and many NFL coaches have admitted to doing it. Just as many NFL coaches have brushed it off saying they know the opponent tries to steal signals so they change them frequently. The Patriots stealing signals have nothing to do with how bad we have sucked over the last decade and further punishing the Pat's would do more damage to the NFL than good. The NFL is built on it's reputation and I am sure Darth Goodell will do everything he can to not tarnish it.

What the Pats did was illegal. Hope that the NFL Commissioner will come down hard on the team - major, hefty finds, losing draft picks, and stripping the team of their Superbowl championships. That would be the best way to punish a team and set a precedent that if any other team thought of doing any illegal act, that is how they will be punished. As the saying goes, "What goes around comes around" and "Payback is a b----". This is what they deserve.

Hey, Patriots, looks like you've got more people to hate you. Now, I'm not saying the city of Boston is bad. I was there last year, ironically when the Bills played the Patriots, and it was unusually warm, the leaves were changing and the Red Sox were on their way to another World Series win {Isn't it funny they've won two since 2004, when they couldn't win one in eighty-six years...hello, dynasty} and the food was great. Where we stayed, there was a train station to Foxboro and we saw all these fans going to the game on the Sunday we toured Boston, and let's say it was ugly.
