The Buffalo Police Career of Dennis Delano 9/3/85 Appointed assigned Academy 1/19/86 Academy to Pct 16 2/6/87 Pct 16 to Auto Theft Squad 10/16/87 Promoted to A/Detective 5/27/91 Promoted to Detective 7/6/02 ATS to Major Case 1/21/05 Major Case to Homicide 2/27/08 SUSPENDED Your hero spent less then 13 months in a uniform before his political connections got him an assignment to the Auto Theft Squad where he hid for almost 15 years. He finally ended up in Homicide where he got a case dropped into his lap that he was able to solve with the help of a Task Force that consisted of numerous detectives from numerous jurisdictions. Even his own union, the PBA, failed to endorse his candidacy. What does that tell you???

Way to go Dennis we hope you win this race. Me and all my fiends here in babcock are behind you and will be at your parties. I talked to Tony Capozzi we will help you out with commercials, donations, signs, whatever you need. Thank you again for all you did for us. You will be a great senator and bring some credibility to Albany for once.

It's amazing to me that anyone would use the words honorable, respect and professional in the same breath as the name of this joke of a detective. An "honorable professional" wouldn't treat evidence the way he did - if you had anything at all to do with law enforcement, you'd understand that. "Vote Stacks" said it best - he continues to take credit for the work done by a number of truly honorable, professional law enforcement officers.

OK hotshot, you conveniently left out his service with the Buffalo Municipal Housing Authority as a peace officer. His career in law enforcement spans over 25 years, and he spent much more than 13 months in patrol when accounting for the BMHA tenure.

Whatever you rummies in Buffalo do, please don't waste your vote on Bill Stachowski, talk about no work career! After college graduation in 1972, Old Billy spent some time goofing off in his father's liquor business with daddy holding his hand, and ever since 1974 he's been on the public dole accepting a paycheck as a do-nothing politician.
So this gooch licker spent 2 half-baked years with pops on the hooch wagon before he jumped onto the gravy train with biscuit wheels.

Reread what was wrote, BUFFALO POLICE CAREER, not housing guard career. Besides he did nothing while he was in Housing either. Spent most of that time working days on the desk!

I think that DeLano is a wonderful man not many people stick up for themselves let alone some else. Many people in the community feel the same way because we need someone who takes charge and makes a positive difference. You are apperciated DeLano keep moving forward and I wish you the best of luck!!
