Well I guess they can afford to go out on the 33 and the 198 etc. and slow traffic down because they have no urgency to get any where during rush hours anyway!

If she would of helped her fellow officer instead of some thug, maybe she would be up for an award. She's another Affirmative Action reject. McDonalds is hiring, course with your violent record who's going to want you?

It shouldn't be too hard to find a thousand people to create civil disobedience, drive around street corner on the east side there is plenty of guys standing around not working.

Weren't her two brothers recently arrested for theft? Wasn't that criminal she said was being choked arrested again? Don't her kids have arrest records? How many days did she call in sick? Isn't perjury illegal. That woman did not have an honest bone in her body. Her firing is ten years overdue.

oh please since mayor brown became mayor take a look around all the top positions are held by blacks so i think its time for white people to cry racasimn but that would be wrong now wouldnt it go down to the eastside or perry projects east delevan 99 percent of the gangs and drug dealing is done by blacks!!!!!!!!!

I think the former police officer got what she deserved.She messed up and got into a fight with a fellow officer and she knew she was wrong and when she realized that she was going to be punished she drew the "race card". What could she expect she attacks the police department and the entire police force along with her lawyer and she's surprised by the outcome.After all is said and done it's not a race thing or a cop thing the former officer was wrong and got what she had coming to her. And if people want to try to disrupt the city or stage some kind of protest well I hope they got bail money set aside. I was in law enforcement and I totally agree with the desicion of the buffalo police department

So far I've seen the black community threaten civil disobedience, her lawyer threaten law suits and the usual nonsense that follows whenever someone of "color" is fired from their job. Quite curious though is the lack of any type of statement from the Buffalo Police Benevolent Association, one of the strongest in the country. As a retired officer, I know that there are procedures in place that one can protest an "unlawful" firing. Does anyone other then myself find it strange that this course of action has been totally absent from any discussion of the events surrounding this firing? Perhaps it's because she deserved to be fired and there's no case for an arbitrator to decide.

CHILDISH!! Thats not hurting the police it's hurting all of us who need to get to work and make a living. Just because she no longer has a job don't mean we can't continue our lives. So in other words get everyone fired for being late and than you have a whole bunch of people applying for unemployment and welfare...care more about your community and don't make this world revolve around this one individual who can fight her battles in court. Believe me taking justice in your own hands only will make people become more steritipical of her and the people who support her. She has a right to file an appeal so do so! If you want to have a grievence with the police than your only grievience is with the comissioner that fired her. Still and tho rebelling against him personally is childish also. Let the system handle this and the outcome is what it is DEAL WITH IT!!

Hey this brother did a good job-even though she is black-I don't like to see a sister out of a job and she gives all of us a bad time-but hey she deserves it along with some white women -you know what that work at station on Hertel. We are currently on a story that will expose these power made women only on News 4

this is whats wrong with the with the country. if more officers said she was not telling the it honestly, than get her out.

I just don't understand your comments. A Police Officer is hired to serve and protect, it doesn't mean that you get to beat up, choke, harrass or intimidate the public. Every person deserves fairness, The Buffalo Police are not the Judge and Jury. Her partner was wrong. Too many times we turn the other cheek when the police are racially profiling young black men, it is time it stopped.
She did the right thing by trying to stop her partner from assaulting another human being. The BPD has this code of honor where you don't go against another officer even when they are wrong. WHERE ARE THEIR MORALES!

Police Officers are hired to arrest perpetrators of crimes and when the suspect resists arrest force must be used to complete the arrest. Her partner was using the force required to make the arrest and she had no business attempting to stop him in the manner she did. Things could have turned tragic very quickly if that suspect got a hold of an Officer's weapon while She was taking matters into her own hands. The suspect would have probably ended up dead then, but that's what you probably would have prefered. Better press in a case where there is a fatality. Or maybe you would rather have the Officers beat the suspect with nightsticks or flashlights instead. You people are never happy with any tactics the Police use. AND HE WORD IS MORALS, NOT MORALES, THAT'S A SPANISH SURNAME.
