They're accused in an elaborate scheme claiming she had to move to Buffalo when Hurricane Rita hit Texas.

Shame, shame, shame, everyone knows your name. While thousands of people are not getting the help they need, these two crooks are getting money they don't deserve.

There are thousands of people in Buffalo defrauding welfare right now.

the sheriffs dept had been defrauding FEMA for awhile now. they had two deputies working overtime for FEMA, one was golfing the other home sleeping. nothing was done to these deputies, sheriff howard and his crew covered it up.

Fraud is fraud. The real crime is the lack of intelligence in our social service offices. Take, for instance, an immigrant from Iraq...came here in 2001 (hmm, the same year as 9/11), and is now on section 8 and collecting Social Security!!! For what??? He never contributed a thing to this country!!!! But I will probably get 75 cents for every dollar that I'm entitled to when I reach retirement. This country makes it too easy to commit these kinds of crimes and picks and chooses who it will prosecute. It's disgusting. That's why I don't donate any more to charitable causes....I do that every payday!

What is wrong with people? This is why the goverment is so rough with helping people who really need it because of some sob who want to make a quick buck and try to get away with it. To those people I say SHAME ON YOU, YOU TOOK AWAY FROM PEOPLE WHO CAN DESPERATELY NEED THE HELP.I HOPE YOU CAN SLEEP WELL AT NIGHT.

The amazing thing is that they got caught! There are so many ripoffs on our system, and the ones that are supposed to monitor it get mad when you point out a cheater. They have thier little easy gig going and dont like waves.

Dissolve FEMA and give the money back to the states to use as they need. |

I don't believe these persons are guilty for one second. "Elaborate" scheme? There's nothing elaborate about being poor. Another attempt by FEMA heads to have the public look bad. They want to take this angle now since they are sick of being ragged on for screwing up a situation and not allowing humans to help humans and neighbors help neighbors and taking over and absolutely and failing absolutely. Not going to happen that someone stop placing blame of FEMA for being police force of the elite and nothing more and not true assistance for living situations.

you never know the real story unless you know the people...dont believe everything you hear on the news!!!! one of the suspects was not guilty!!! HE DIDNT DO IT!! it was definitely a case of being around the wrong person, at the wrong time!!!

I DO NOT BELIEVE THE NEWS. Most stories are 'based' in fact, but the message is totally
gone by the time we read or see it. How does this happen? Naturally, who gets paid is impt. But look up an annual report ( I believe there are books since '02 ) on the 'most censored stories of the year'. Something like that anyway. Sometimes boring, mostly interesting, and a few bonechilling examples of what we rarely hear. |
