Rural Metro contract expires

Sad part is this profession is now ran by a group of people that have personal greed instead of public need. Corrupt management, with dishonest friends, very, very, troublesome...

Decert would be our best bet. That way the staff that works and dosent destroy our cars can get a raise and the dead beats can hit the road. Some people think they are untouchable staff and management alike, just ask our former GM and the garage guys. No work BY.

Good Bye Rural Metro your coporation only cares about its stock holders. One thing is for certain War Hero Gary Bluhm can take his stories somewhere else.

Now we keep getting the senseless memos from the company and the union.
BTW why is this Living Wage issue such a bargaining topic? that has Nothing to do with us wanting a fair contract!!

So much of what management makes an "issue" out of isn't fact about the incident at hand, but you can be sure it is a bargaining topic for them. If they don't have fact they can always create something... ohh yeah and then they have their friends lie about it even more... excellent leadership! Bubba and his goones...
This company is somehow making a profit. Can you imagine how much more profit could be made if we had productive, educated, and competent management?
The level of incompetent people in management for this company is just done right impressive!

Yeah I agree.But I am just glad to have a job.

The union was brought in for slackers like me so I could screw up and still have a job with the company.

Decert was the best thing we ever did- got us bigger paychecks without the dues, and a chance to work closer WITH management instead of us fighting all the time. I have to agree with what your saying. I have worked in Union & Non-union shops and your definitely better off without a Union if you do your job. It's nly the real slackers that need a Union behind them and even then they can only cover you for a while.

Decert would be best. But we have so many slackers that need their butts covered it may be harder than you think to get rid of it.

By the way, what garage guys are you talking about? I've never seen a garage there, just a repair shop.

Gary Bluhm the War Hero is the reason there is o new contract. He spotte Bin Laden in the Niagara River and now everyone is at a stalemate.

Garage were they fix our cars. Do the names Dewey and Adam ring a bell. Let's just get to work. It's fair time guys we know what to do! Like the man says we can make them pay the next two weeks.

I've worked as an EMT-I here for several years and this place is in utter shambles.

Adin, Rusinski, Erin are totally useless. They are only concerned with firing people with seniority (greater then 6 months at this POS company) so they can fill medic cars with basics making minimum wage.

How many medics did we lose this year? 30+ How may are we gaining? 1!!!

When you have HR managers that treat people like crap what do you expect.

Medics, run to TCA or another real company before RMA dies and you are competting with 100 other people for limited jobs. RUN!!!!

At least you have a union. We have no representation, no steward and the Union will not help us.
