SHOULD we DRAFT Colin Powell for PRES?

I think Colin Powell would be a better Pres, that eather one of the other fools running . What do you think ? should we DRAFT powell for pres?

The biggest cheer-leader for the Iraq war for president? Remember the "evidence" Powell presented at the UN? Bush and Company used him like a worn-out prostitute and then threw him into a ditch. Why didn't he stand up for himself and publicly denounce all of them? Er no, let's hope he never breaks that promise to his wife.

P.S. one thing for sure we will never know if anybody ever crossed G.W.s path or even DADS for that matter.

POWELL was a honorable man untill he didnt stand up to BUSH & his lies If he did we would have a different economy now & the war would be over & BUSH most likely would be tried on purjury or war crimes the drawback on that CHICKENCHIT CHENNEY would be prez thats BAD

Powell’s the one who was a major factor in getting Bush 41 to stop Schwartzkopf from going into Bagdad and capturing Saddam in the first Gulf War...I wonder if Powell thinks about that advice every time he hears a casualty report today.

Stormin'Norman has called him out on it by describing him as a "political general" and not a "military" one...I have to agree...His weaseling advice to the Presidents he has served has been consistent for almost 20 years...POOR.

Powell for Prez? No way...the man has no character...Powell's only goal is to do what's best for himself...no matter who he stabs in the back.

Powell was chairman of the Joint Chiefs Of Staff. That is command of ALL the troops! He was also a BDE commander, a DIVISION commander, and a BTN commander!

He gave us the term "Cut and Run." After the Black Hawk incident in Somolia, he told the Senate Armed Services committe and Bob Dole and Kurt Weldheim that "We can't cut and run now. It sends a dangerous message that the USA can't stomach casualties in war." But the Senate didn't listen to him.

He'd never run. And he calls that speech at the UN "The greatest shame of my life." He wanted out in 2003. Guess that he believed the lies too.

I don't know what McCain thinks. In 2003 he told us that the war was a cake walk. Then he told us it was over. Now he says that it was always drawn out to be a long war. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!

Fanatics are fanatics. Is a Christian Fanatic who blows up an abortion clinic or shoots a doctor worse than a muslim who straps a belt of dynamite on and blows a market up 8,000 miles away? Or is he as not as bad as a anti-government fanatic who blows up a building in the USA?

Powell did have some time in command of troops. It was not much compared to the time spent in non-combat type jobs.

Also, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs is the principal military advisor to the President. He has no command authority over the different Services or troops.
