If you don't like the rate of pay then don't work there. If you don't like the Chinese items, don't shop there. If you don't like Walmart because you are a hopeless bleeding heart liberal then don't go there. But don't poop on every one's party just because there are those of us out there who want to save a few bucks on essentials and ammunition.

Well He11 Yes they are, if they weren't we'd be paying $14 for a $2 item. The unions and the democrats have ruined NYS. And now the libs, in true lib fashion want to tell us what is good for us as if they are the only ones with any sense. I hope Walmart plans more stores for our area so I can drive there to shop in my 14 MPG SUV. Oh wait, is an SUV a tainted product too? How soon you forget about tainted pet food from where?? Oh... must be China!! I lost a dog because of China's BS. When it affects you directly one day... you may wake up.

And wegmans is in the top 100 corporations to work for, I believe walmart is in the top 100 corporations NOT to work for. And they are from the south. And if you are a true bargain shopper, then you already know walmart prices are usually a bit higher for groceries, and their produce just barely meets standards, dollar for dollar- wegmans and tops are the best- a gallon of milk at walmart is almost always 1.50 more then of tops / wegmans. When is the last time you heard of a scholarship for Walmart - wegmans gives out thousands every year to local employees. Walmart is bad , period- Don't tell me job growth, I would say $8.00 hourly is not enough to live in Lancaster, so most employees will not be from around here, also, the money we put in we will never see, we just keep feeding this monster. What ever happened to self expression, soon everyone will be wearing the same clothes, have the same tv's / outdoor grills and patio sets, I for one enjoy shopping around at different stores, it doesn't say much about an individual who can shop for their entire family at one store. I agree.. couldn't say it better myself!

The feed I use for my dogs costs $53 for a 30 pound bag. I have seen 50 pound bags in discount stores on sale for $7. You sir are a dog killer. Don't blame Walmart, blame yourself.

Now it is time for corporate retail to come in with low price assurances. They are accountable to shareholders, not to their own greed like alternate business is. If you were smart you would invest in Walmart stocks. When the liberal media scares the populous into believing we are headed to economic ruin the value of the stock will skyrocket because ordinary people like to save money whenever they can. You libs can thank yourselves for the success of Walmart because of your constant fear mongering. BTW: You don't have to thank me for the stock tip.

It is all good and dandy that Lancaster will have a store to go to nearby, but what about us Niagra County residents that don't want to travel to another county just to go shopping. Our tax rates are a bit lower and it will keep money in the county. Where is the Lockport store?????

My animals eat better than I do! Major brands were also affected.... do your homework before you make comments like that.

And furthermore, why was your dog sick? Could it be because you were so grossly misinformed that you kept feeding it the same poison that was causing the illness in the first place? Jeez, I'd hate to see how you treat your elderly mother.

Mark my words.... Wal*Mart will destroy this country. We will all be working like slaves (as if we aren't already) if Wal*Mart continues to succeed. This country is in too much comptition will the chinese work ethic because of Wal*Mart. Rent the crtically acclaimed documentary "The High Price of Low Cost". Then tell me that Wal*Mart is still woth shopping at.

It's amazing how numerous stores and other venues are opened without any public criticism or outcries. Mention a Walmart and people crawl out of the woodwork to degrade and stop their progress. One speaks about the USA - it's a wonderful place to live and do bussiness - if you don't like something, you don't have to patronize it. It's called freedom of choice. Many people choose to patronize an establishment, many do not. As far as all the rhetoric, freedom of speach is also a wondrful this - it just gets tiresome when someone beats a subject to death.
