I think that McCain has made a very good political move. The other men had "baggage" to overcome. He is appealing to the Conservative part of the Republican Party as well as the backers of Clinton.

Why do you use the words "little known" and "Govenor of her state less than two years" but make small talk about Obama's lack of experience??? Could be that you have an agenda?? Why dont you tell the truth and say you are a Obama support and will do anything to bend the truth?? What a coward you must be.

I am ecstatically excited over McCain's pick for VP. She is strong and I believe she can handle anything given to her.

I question the decision since so much has been made about the inexperience of Obama...is this a double standard? As a female and registered republican, I would have rather seen someone else selected.

That's probably the best reason to pick her. Someone with an open mind and not polluted with politic bull - I think Obama is shaking in his "booties"....

She's a darned good choice. In fact, she's the best choice politically speaking. She is light in the foreign policy area. Then again ALL governors are light in the foreign policy arena. WOW! Did the Clintons outfox Obama or what! The smart choice would have been to pick Gov. Kathleen Sebilius of Kansas. Like it or not, there are those who are going to vote for a person based on the fact the person is a woman. There goes that sector of the demographic. If Sebilius would have been the Democrat VP selection, it would have been....Hillary who? Good political move by Camp McCain.

BTW: My partisan hat is off today....I'm wearing the analysts hat

......and Obama has what experience? C'mon he's a Senator....no executive experience.....and not much experience as Senator either. But in all honesty....these candidates are the worst I've seen since I began following politics in 1968. There is nobody that good on either side of the aisle.

Do you think conservatives will agree with her running for vice president when she has an infant with special needs. Women can do a lot of things, but won't this be an ultimate challenge, or is that the point?

How can he accuse his opponent of lack of experience and then pick some one who lacks experience too? This goes to show that he is confused

McCain thinks he can make up for his age by choosing a younger generation. He thinks a woman will win over Clinton's supporters. He fails to understand that Clinton is Clinton.

He is up for a tough battle, let him tell us what he is going to do to take back the 90% votes he has given to Bush for the past eight years.

I must say that this is WOW moment. To those that say CNN is immediately attacking her because she is a woman, she has an issue in turmoil right now. What do you expect? There is no information on her. What do you expect? She is just removed from being a mayor of a city of 5000 people that don't face nearly the many problems that 99% of Americans face today. WOW!!! There goes that inexperience argument against Obama. Great job to cut off your genitals.
