Wind farms pose wx forecast concerns

So if there is a storm comming in from the west over lake erie the weather service shouldn't have too much trouble detecting it.

Hey dummy! On June 2, 1998, we had an F2 tornado develop right at the edge of where the wind turbine interference is today. Had those turbine farms been there back then, the tornado would not have been identified for another 6 minutes, at which time it would have done its damage and been gone. That's instead of the timely warning which was issued by the NWS based on doppler radar velocity data which would have been invisible at a crucial moment.
