Mozart was preety talented as with the Beatles too.
We get it, you don't like the Beatles, that's fine, then by all means, don't listen to them.
I do like the Rolling Stones they do rock , always have.

In the game of close mindness and silliness, yes you win. Congrats. At least we agree on the Stones. |

I think the Stones were pretty good also. But album strength they didn't have the Beatles talent. They really haven't had a good album since 1971 (Sticky Fingers). They crank out a couple good tunes on each album and that is it. I love Gimme Shelter, Brown Sugar, **** Tonk Women, Jumpin Jack Flash, and Satisfaction amongst others. But overall album quality, they didn't have it compared to the Beatles.

Hi everyone!
First of all, I think that's a great forum about the beatles and it's very useful when you want to know about their history, albums, songs, lyrics and more. Well, I'm doing a kind of work about the Beatles. It's more about in which way the Beatles influenced the 1960s society -in England and the U.S.- and I'd like you if you want to tell me about that theme. I'm looking for people who lived those years and followed the movement, or people who knows quite well about them, people who have been in Liverpool, experiences... You can send me an email if you want to hel me about that work, it's really important for me, I LOVE the Beatles and I want to know lots of things about them: eshther91@hotmail.com or: save_your_goals00@orangemail.c om THANKS A LOT! |

I was only 1 year old when they arrived in America. But I've read a lot of books on them. A really good book about them was written by Peter Brown. You won't be able to put it down when you start reading it. Its called, "The Love You Make." Brown was a high up insider in the Beatles organization. A lot of very good information is revealed about them. One I just finished is, "Shout!: The Beatles and Their Generation." Yoko Ono wasn't the sole driving force in their breakup...but she definitely contributed to the bad vibes at the end. Ticket To Ride is my favorite song by them. As someone else said...it is debated as the first heavy metal song. Bob Dylan got them high for the first time in August of 1964. He thought they were singing in "I Wanna Hold Your Hand," I get high....instead of, I can't hide. Help movie they were so stoned that reshots of scenes were constantly done. |
