Someone should investigate whether Hoyt was ever in Alaska, and got near Sarah Palin's knockedup daughter!

I am so tired of hearing about political leaders n their outside activities. Personally I think they should rename politics to Truth or Consequences. Better yet, those interested in running for any political position should have a complete investigation by the FBI CIA n even Homeland security, go public n let anyone with any dirt come forth so I don;t have to hear it go on and on....They weren't the first n won;t be the last..

Personally, I believe it to be ridiculous that our news programs, both local and national, are saturated with stories about morality and the frivolous legal cases behind them. The debate about Sam Hoyt, who did not break any criminal law by having an affair (the intern was of age and it was consensual), should have ended exactly when that determination was made. Along with the ongoing controversy about the Seneca casino, this issue is a form of moral bickering that is being legally investigated. If a man wants to have relations with a consenting woman, so be it. Similarly, if a person has the desire to gamble, moral arguments should not keep them from doing so. Morality is an idea dictated by religion, so whatever happened to separation of church and state? It seems that these lines are being blurred in an alarming manner.

Well that's a different issue. Yeah if we can catch them being crooks it's a legitimate public concern. I wouldn't be surprised if Thompson and Hoyt are crooks, but I won't assume so unless there's ever PROOF!!!

THAT is the kind of thing the media should be investigating, not trivial matters like their social lives. Dating is not a crime if its consensual. It might be reason for divorce, but it's not a crime or a scandal.

Instead of hearing about our political representatives n their personal life I would like a frequent mail out about the life of a child growing up here n what we have to offer them.. Why is there so much drug activity, senseless killings, Robberies, Rape, need I go on? Are the personal lives of politicians more important ?????
