Dan Payne worked really hard to drive the company that his father founded into the ground. After a few years of his leadership, he finally succeeded! Dan, your out in the cold, former employees thank you for a job well done!

i thought i was gonna retire from path, wrong!
5 years and dumped out like yesterdays trash.and western express taking over loads, not for me. the so called recruiters were very vague, some questions were avoided all together. they pay same cheap **** scale reluctantly, 900 mile to orientation in iowa. talked to a couple that went , and they dont think they will be there long. path was a real good place to work when i started, then fred retired, and the downhill slide began. i really hope Tom and Laura will be ok there, they deserve better, but got dumped on like all of the rest of us

Just happened by this, i worked there a ton of years.
Fred did a great job of pissing the company away,
the nails were already in the coffin when Dan took
over. He was in place to just to make sure it wouldn't survive.
Dan isn't out in the cold at all, he was up and running his new trucking company in Schuylerville.
Fred put a truck on with him, wave to Big Foot next time you see a Pyrimid Truck.

I kinda figured the gas prices did the damage. Not easy to overcome when you've got only a fraction of the fees being taken care of by fule surcharges, is it? I've enver worked in the trucking biz, but I just would think with the timing that fuel had a big impact...
