If the investigators had listened to Lynn DeJac-Peters' vehement staements that he was responsible for not only the death of Ms. Giambra but her daughter, Crystallyn Girard, Ms. DeJac-Peters would have been a free woman years ago and this piece of garbage would be off the streets. That immunity agreement only prevented him from jail. Face it, folks, he played the system, and won!

"But the defense is trying to cast suspicion on the Kathleen's father, a diagnosed schizophrenic who had separated from Joan Giambra just weeks before her murder"

schizophrenia – A mental disorder characterized by separation between thought and emotions, by delusions, bizarre behavior, etc------Schizophrenic-

If the Buffalo Police were as thorough securing the Giambra murder scene, as the Prosecution attorney would have the jury believe, Why was Donald Cormier allowed on the scene? Then denying removing any evidence, but found in police evidence pictures removing a journal type book/ diary? Seems his memory failed him once he got out of the guidelines of the prosecution’s
coaching or witness leading. Apparently the prosecution didn’t see those pictures or they just missed that fact.

Why has it taken 7 months to bring this case together...after 15 years. Did the prosecution need that much time to establish trust between Donahue and the Jailhouse snitch(s) to orchestrate the Donahue confession? The snitches were all trying to cut a deal..to remove time from they’re sentence’s…Donahue was not one of them….

Should a man go to jail based on (yet to be seen) flimsy evidence, the word of a child molester trying to cut a deal for 25years off his sentence and the testimony of a detective that has jumped to conclusions and couldn’t remain focused presenting her testimony on the stand at the defense cross examination? Isn’t that her job?

If Donahue is guilty it shouldn’t be that hard to convict him.
To much politics involved in this case.

Did you ever think it might have been something he had with him when he got there or something he gave to the police? The picture does not show him removing anything it just shows it in his hand.
Look at the fact that Donhoue got some sweet plea deal to testify against Lynn DeJac So who is the low life.

Are you really that stupid DNA does not lie. Why don't you read up on DNA. DNA is not flimsy evidence and the informant was not given 25 years off a sentence the DA's office said they would tell the Judge that he cooperated with them and would recommend the sentence would run concurrent with the one he is serving. So get your facts stright.

You must be related to that low life scum that is on trial. DNA does not stay under somebody's finger nails for months and from what I've been hearing Donohue's brother-in-law is as big a lier as he is. He told the police he didn't know his own brother-in-law. So the way I see it he comes from a family of liers that marry liers.

If the dna evidence is so strong why did the prosecution need to cut a deal with a 3 time felon child molester?
A tewenty-five year sentence for a third child molestation felony added on to a nine year reduced sentence equals thirty-four years.
He is being rewarded for a minimum of tewenty-one years as the prosecution stated he would only receive an additional four years max consecutive sentence and that the prosecution" would recommend the sentence would run concurrent with the one he is serving". The quotation part is the part you got right.

I guess getting away with 2 murders isn't enough, "I wonder" and "no trial needed" would like to see him get away with a third so he can commit a fourth. No one is that unlucky to be that close to 3 very similar murders. The police need all the evidence they can get to guarantee that piece of **** stays off the streets and doesn't kill again the next time a woman pisses him off.

Do all you people remember the Capozzi case, if you are not privy to all the facts, and (unless you are the two attorney's you are not)let the jury decide his is guilt or innocence. People are innocsent until proven guilty.. that is what the trail is about. let the process handle it and stop characterizing people you don't even know or know about.

There won't be any need for speculation. The case is going to a jury. Hopefully the prosecution proved their case and this person will be off the streets for a long time. Kudos to Mr Sedita and staff for being so effective in this case!
