1) She is presently under investigation in Alaska for abuse of power.

2) She strongly supports big oil (her husband works for oil company BP).

3) She believes creationism should be taught in public schools.

4) She believes global warming is a farce and is opposed to listing the polar bear as an endangered species.

5) She supports drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and anywhere else big oil wants.

6) She supports Pebble Mine which will destroy the richest salmon run in the world.

7) She supports aerial shooting of bears and wolves in Alaska.

8) She is pro-war.

Gov Sarah Palin is just another corrupt politician who would be worse for the environment than even Bush and McCain.

But she's so cuuuute!!

And she's got such a nice family!!

And she has so much experience as a mayor of a town of 6000 and as Governor of ALASKA for 2 yrs!

And she and McCain are so compatible after meeting each other TWICE!

She's JUST perfect and we should all VOTE for McCain/Palin.....blah, blah, blah, blah

What planet do all of these people live on????? They sound so ignorant trying to convince themselves that this is a great team for the USA.

So what's your point? She's perfect. Too bad she's not running for president.

I like it! She's got a good head on her shoulders. She's the type of person that's needed at this point in time. What is wrong with her set of beliefs?

Forgive me for not sharing your enlightened point of view. There are a very substantial number of people in this country who have a Conservative point of view. We are no longer willing to sit idle while the "enlightened progressive" elements frame the debate and run things. Those days are long gone.....get used to it.

She's a Stepford Wife Conservative hypocrite.

ProLife and ProWar?? Shooting/destroying God's beautiful wildlife but teaching CREATIONISM?

Not to mention "troopergate" ...a scandal already before she was picked for VP

PULEAZZE.....

I can see that you are all just desperate for ANYONE after what GW Bush did for us....keep telling yourselves that Sarah Palin is the answer so that you'll be able to pull that lever on Election Day

Stepford Wife???? You must not have heard her speech. She's a toughie. Maybe what bothers you about her is that she is a real woman and not some cold fish baby-killing, kumbaya-singing, tree hugging feminazi. She can achieve great things in her life without losing her femininity and humanity. She puts human life before animals; what's wrong with that? And global warming is a crock of doodoo. She will make an excellent VP.

Is this the Miss America Pageant??

Human life before animals? You sound so caring and compassionate...baby-killing what a buzzword but shooting animals for FUN???

By the way how much baby-killing has gone on in Iraq??

Yes.....human life before animals. Now your thinking is in order. With regard to the aerial killing of animals. Polar bears are not the nice cuddly things you see on the Coca-Cola commercials at Xmas. Their claws can easily tear through a steel door....and they can run about 30 mph. When decommissioning a radar installation there, there were 2 people with 60 caliber rifles at all times. Their sole purpose....take out the bear if it comes too close. When a bear starts causing damage to remote villages, the only way to stop them is through the air....you don't track them on the ground. It's not a job anybody relishes. However, you just can't allow bears to roam through villages at will. This is something that is difficult to comprehend living in the lower 48. As I always say....its easy to be tolerant when you don't have to tolerate anything.

As far as the baby killing in Iraq.....that's so 1970s...come up with a new line.

Hey Eight,

Ask Timothy Treadwell about bears. Whoops, you can't. One of the nice, cuddley teddy bears he was "protecting" ate him and his girlfriend. Every so often they show the documentary on History Channel. Watch it next time.

Femininity is a lot more than outward appearance or winning a beauty contest. If you don't understand the inner strength and grace that makes a woman feminine, no one can explain it to you.

Eight is enough needs to obtain a formal education. You can't just say things that make no sense. Do a little research before opening your mouth.

It's entertaining (in a scary kind of way) to read your twisted logic in responses defending pro-life people who can justify the killing of living beings who are also creationists.

I have nothing against Mrs. Palin....I respect her for being a "stong and graceful" woman...but I am not ready for this woman to be Pres. of the United States if McCain can't finish his term...hey, at least we'll be protected from those awful Polar Bears

Obama also voted against the bill in Illinois that would have required doctors to save the life of any baby that survived a late-term abortion. He not only advocates killing babies before they are born but he also is not opposed to infanticide. BUT, he doesn't kill predatory animals that are capable of treating him like a midnight snack and he loves those jolly jokers Ahdiminejad & Hugo Chavez, so that makes him ok in some people's eyes. Not mine.

The teaching of creationism in schools goes against what our country was intended for. I don't know where some people got the idea that America is a Christian nation because it's not and it does not belong in public schools, period.

You're an ****.
Creationism is a theory just like evolution is a THEORY and they should be taught side by side or not at all. Creationism should get just as much time as evolution. You can't pick and choose any more. Either it all gets equal time or NONE of it does.
Your typical liberal response is such a symbol of the ages. America's screwed up because of infidels like you.
Evolution is a THEORY.
Creationism is a theory.
Don't hunt the polar bears but ABORTION OF A HUMAN LIFE is OKEY DOKEY!!
What morons some of you people are. Do some of you ever BOTHER to really think before you speak?? Do you ever bother to really evaluate what your belief system is based on?
You don't have to believe in God to know abortion is wrong or that HUMAN LIFE is 1000 times more relevant than an ANIMAL.
No wonder G-d has turned his back on us.

I have yet to see one mature and educated response to this subject. They are all racist comments and angry name calling. Do you people honestly expect to be taken seriously?

Let me ask you a question. Is it racist for someone to not vote for a person because they are black or for someone to vote for a person because they are black?
