Don't you watch the news???? These pictures end up on the intranet in an instant. It is not blown out of proportion. In a way it is kid porn.

As a student at Pioneer Highschool, I'd like to say, hey! It's not just girls sending nude photos around. In fact, the first time I ever heard of text messages like these involved a male student who sent pictures to a friend of mine a few months ago.

i cant beleive that these students had the balls to do that like way wow o ya this is a small deal blown way out of proportion thanks for giving our school a bad reputation thanks guys!!!!

I can't believe people think that parent's shouldn't know what their kids are doing especially on thier cell phones. They should be taken from them.

This is more of my child does no wrong my child has "rights" don't correct my little precious darling because it might break their spirit and so the parents can just breed and dump them and not have to be bothered with them.

I totally agree, Justin! Last night I heard on the news that the pictures were discovered as a result of some other trouble the kids had gotten into. I had a feeling they had taken away their phones, which is fine with me, but to be allowed access to every phone call, text, or picture just seems a violation of civil rights! Oh wait, the kids at our school say they don't have civil rights while on school property.

Buffalo news clears up these incidents really well

In a commission of a crime if the cell phone is used it justified to go through the phone.

since the beginning of the school year there have been SEVRAL incidents of this nature. honestly some gurls are inbaresed and yet others dont care and thats the sad thing
for the last couple years our school has been spiraling downward from beavioral problems to aspestis in our cellings.

First, I think it is the parents responsibility to teach their children right from wrong. If I had that much disposable income when my children were growing up to afford a cell phone for them I would have had them give it to me to hold on to when they were home. Who paid for it anyway? This being said remember we live in a "Nanny State." The powers that be know how to take care of your children better than you so you don't have to worry about raising your children with morals and ethics. Besides aren't all morals and ethics subjective and up to the individual to decide if it is right or wrong? Depends on what your definition of "is" is.
According to school rules once your child is on school grounds their person and property are subject to search. There is a phrase "parentis locus" if I have it right. Basicaly when your child is on school property the administration and staff are their parents. Scary, isn't it? Another thing scary is the spelling of the other posters who are from our wonderful state school systems.

S Tier Farmer must be on one of the people that are getting the pictures on their cell phone. Anyone that thinks that the school should NOT intervene when this type of activity is going on DURING the SCHOOL DAY must have a hand in the pot!!!!! These are children under the age of 18. In a school setting, this type of activity absolutely erodes the educational experience for EVERYONE.
