Report: Buffalo school superintendent in line for Memphis job

I liked williams when he first got here. He stood up for what i beleived what was right..Im really not too sure now..And there was never any wxplanation why he left his previous position..detroit(?)

I think he should leave he has done nothing for the buffalo public schools or the childern in the school.

He got fired in Dayton, OH because there was 22 million dollars missing.

Let him leave, we will be better off!

If he receives this promotion to Memphis, it will be a Blessing to Buffalo. Is there another opening for a Police Commissioner? Hey!! Mayor Brown your Buddies aren't doing to well are they..

thats because he's not a politician/lier

i went to buffalo schools and graduated, and it has changed for the worst. i want to know why? why have some one come in and not do nothing? all the abuse from teachers, rather its mentally or physically, the teachers dont care about the kids they care about the money.i have seen teachers hit, push, and shove students,they get away with it.but when a student retailiates and hits back they get suspended or kicked out.how is that fair? the super intendent is suppose to do something, what has he done?if Carl Palidino can call him out on it good for you Carl. i have worked in Carl Palidinos building and he is not raceist but if he can call the super intendent what he is well he says it nicer than i would.

Good I hope he gets the job and becomes some other district's problem. The way he and the school board have handled things this past year so that we are in a dire need for change.

I spy hope. I am the happiest BPS teacher in the whole wide world right now. Please lets hire a progressive, teacher/education friendly superintendent. One who hold teachers accountable but at the same recognizes the craft and treats those professionals who perform their duties with respect. If we hire one of his winged underlings, I am out of here.
(And I don't hit kids or neglect my job but rather work every day as intelligently and hardcore as possible to allow my kids opportunity and success. So don't call me lazy or greedy.)

As a parent of a Buffalo Public school student I feel that Dr. James Williams has done nothing but hurt our school district. If he does choose to leave Buffalo for Memphis then I think we would be much better off. The school board did a fine job of running our district before he came here and they will not waiver after he leaves. So I say " goodbye" and thanks for nothing.

Get him out of here. He's made things worse instead of better, and has continued to lie to the public about what's really going on.
