Would someone please tell that twit from the Peace Center that even though this is America's second poorest city, the money McCain collected were PRIVATE dollars from WILLING DONORS.
The LEAST any candidate can do is get out of the $1000 a plate meeting of rich folk and talk to the people of the city you just visited... It doesn't really help your cause if your trying to portray yourself someone who cares about the working class, does it? Maybe use the opportunity to tell people in the second poorest city how you plan to help them... They would teach that on the first day of "Campaigning 101". After all, the GOP is NOT all about the rich, right? OBAMA is the "elitist", right?(I should work a campaign... couldn't do any worse than these hacks...)

Guess what, Obama does the SAME thing in other cities! It's the way politics works, and pretty much always has. So he didn't stop to talk, so what? Mr. Obama doesn't stop to talk to the public in every city he visits either!
Any candidate, left or right, who can't take ten minutes to give a speech in a city when he is RIGHT THERE is stupid...

Barack Obama held a private fundraiser/birthday party Monday in Boston that was expected to bring in close to $5 million at a reception for 850 people. About 250 people paid $15,000 each and $28,500 for a couple to dine with him afterward. Organizers say it was the biggest political fund-raiser ever in Boston. No public speech or meet and greet! Where is the outrage over that?

Which is racist: A white person who doesn't vote for Obama because they don't support his political positions; or a black person who votes for Obama strictly because of his skin tone?
<quoted text>
yeah, ok "Desert Storm Veteran".
I'm sure you did all your heroic duties on board a ship.
LOSER
Actually I was engaged in hand to hand a couple of times and had to gut the other guy like a fish. I proudly and effectively slit that guys throat. Also I would like everyone to know that Bush and McCain are helping defend America and Israel the Homeland. that in itself make them Gods Warriors. The A.C.L.U. and the liberals in this country are making everybody out to be a victim. Well, how about the beheading of Berg ,how about 9-11, how about the extremists stonong gays to death, the list of atrocities that the radical muslim extremists are doing goes on and on and on. Enough thumbsucking America, LAND OF THE FREE-HOME OF THE BRAVE.This is a Capitalist Republic, not a Socialist Democracy. If Obama wins, we will be hit hard, other countries and terrorists know he is weak. I will not vote for a democrat or anybody that will not say the pledge of allegiance. Bush and Reagan are two of the best leaders we have had in modern times. Have a good day, guys like me risked our lives so we all can have it.

There are atrocities in wars, but the nam vets were not baby killers. The enemies would losd the babies with bombs and use there own children as a weapon. America has always tried its best in wars to be fair and usually got the short end of the stick.

Do you realize what it is like to gut somebody like a fish. After a while it becomes second nature. A wise person once said, I have killed for less. You left wing cockjuggling peterpuffer.

I would like an indepth explanation of your statement.
It seems the most over weight people live in the poorest states or in the poorest neighborhoods of the major U.S. cities. Which doesn't add up with your statement.
Millions hungry ?
Do you mean those standing inline now at Micky D's for lunch to add to the 2000 calories they already comsumed today as in stomach says " Stuff me again"and add another 2000 calories ?
Are you trying to indicate MILLIONS of U.S. citizens because of their financial situation are subsisting on less than 1800 calories a day ?
Or how about 1200 calories a day ?
BTW, I also would like to see the costs of war decrease but the MILLIONS HUNGRY hasn't really flown for decades.
They just had a spot on the news saying that within the next 10 years health experts predict that 100% of all Americans will be overweight.

Seems an awful lot of Americans could stand to go hungry.

Sir, it was men just like you and my Dad, a WWII vet, that I always looked up to growing up in the 50s and 60s on the far eastside of Buffalo. You are the "Greatest Generation" as someone else said. Thank you for your service and sacrifices, I know they were many.

Someone explain how the Greatest Generation gave birth to the worst generation of liberal losers.

The first to LOSE a war> My God.

Look at the punks now. We have no future at all.

Better learn Arabic. Farsi, Chinese and Spanish.
