Heating bills projected to be higher

Those who heat their home with natural gas are probably going to be paying more to stay warm this winter.

Are we really supposed to be suprised and shocked by this article? When was the last time a headline mentioned anything about prices dropping???? Oh yeah, there was one yesterday about gasoline dropping 1 cent on average in IN. Yes! now it will only cost me $44.89 instead of $45 to fill up my CAVALIER!

I have purchased space heaters for this winter, I plan to take my showers at my girlfriends house this winter; I have an electric oven that if I turn it up to 350 and leave the door open for about 30 mins, then it will heat my home just fine. I do not plan to give Citizens Gas a dime of my money...and unlike most right now, Im blessed enough to have a pretty substantial bank acount...maybe that's why, cause Citizens Gas won't be dipping into it! I WILL see to that...who needs em! If you can't beat em, find a way around them. Only reason they can hike prices up that high is because the know or feel people will have to pay it. I we all find other ways to heat our homes and stop paying them..then they will go broke; and to stay in business, they will have no choice but to lower prices. Can't charge me for a service I will not use...lol---all the way to the BANK!

I'm with you there no shock to me. To fill up my Avalanche it cost around $120, wow I will go down to maybe $119. With food going up, medical bills, etc. But unfortunately our pay doesn't go up. We will have more middle class income people going to the poor farm. This is getting ridiculous, something needs to happen......

Isn't it amazing how each year it costs so much more to heat a home? The price always seems to rise just before the cold weather season. HMMMMMMM....just like the price of gasoline seems to rise just before the weekend and then falls back down by the following Tuesday.

The price of natural gas is going to go up. You will get a letter from your gas company this month explaining why it will cost you more to heat your house this winter. Could it have anything to do with the Democrats hating coal? Don’t forget that the left wing liberals, 99% of them, Democrats in Congress have passed laws shutting down coal fired generating plants. This means more electricity will have to be made with natural gas. You should have got a letter from your electric company this month explaining that your light bill will be going up, too. This is the policy of the left wing liberal Democrats and our redeemer the blessed one Obama has said that we can no longer have our thermostats set at 72 degrees. Wear a sweater. AND, do not forget to pump up your tires.
